Rhino Wax - Tack Care Maintenance Kit: Having owned horses for over 60 years, I have used a lot of different leather care products. Rhino had made me a convert and it is the only leather care products I will use in the years I have left. Before using it on my leather saddles, I wanted to test it on something less precious to me - so I grabbed a black leather purse that has seen a lot of miles. In the first picture you can see the left side that has been oiled and conditioned, the right has been cleaned with the saddle soap. The soft sheen the oil and conditioner leaves is absent on the right. After the 12 hour waiting period I will finish the right side. The second picture shows one side of the bag with the left side being the leather before starting and on the right the part that has been oiled and conditioned. The picture does not show it well, but there is a definite luster to the right side and the soft, buttery feel is wonderful - you just know the leather is saying 'thank you'! The experience I had with the purse has won Rhino the privilege of being use on my saddles! Love the ingredients found in these products, nothing that will harm the leather or my hands! The products are easy to use and a small amount goes a long way, which amounts to a cost savings in the long game! The brushes are soft and non-scratching. Appreciate the company uses packaging that reduces waste and the use of plastic. Great products, made in the USA by a small company!

I actually got this product for cleaning some of my leather goods at home, and it works great for cleaning shoes, pants, jackets, etc. The product goes a long way too.

There are no separate instructions in the kit. The directions are on each individual product. First you are to clean your leather with leather cleaner (not included) or Saddle Soap (included). Allow to dry then use the leather conditioner (included) or the leather oil (included). After using the oil, the directions stay to let dry for 12-24 hours then apply the leather conditioner. The directions do not state when to use one, the other or both. The brushes do release some hairs but it doesn't effect the products. They did darken the two items that I used them on but they were clean and protected so I didn't mind the darker color.

I appreciate the rhino care kit being made in the USA. It exceeded my expectation, and I'm proud of the pristine condition of the horse tack I have used it on. The products are user-friendly, requiring only a small quantity to be effective, translating to economical use over time. And the ingredients seem to be safe for hands as well.

Nice little kit for small projects. Perfect to find out if you like the product. This cleans, polishes and softens well. The brushes are great to get into tooled areas. A nice present for someone who has tack or does small leather projects.

So I was nervous to use this, only because I have a old Crates 206 saddle that has never been used, and I wanted to test this kit. So I tested this Rhino Wax on a very very small area, it's a chocolate leather. It came out deeply improved. Such a nice shine. So I did a little more, and a little more - the results are outstanding. The Rhino package includes a stick of leather conditioner, stick of saddle soap, and a bottle of leather oil. A portion of the proceeds from the sale supports the World Wildlife fund. Oh and.. they use eco friendly packaging, and they are made in the USA. Nice! I didn't use the oil, but the saddle soap and leather conditioner work really well. I'm so happy :) I love this product!
