You’ll experience some getting used to this type of mattress’ bouncy feel, which is somewhat like, but much firmer than a water bed. It makes for comfortable sleep, without the aching backs that we experienced with our old bedding products. The biggest problem, is the chore of disposing of the old mattress. Amazon offers hauling away of the old mattress for $99, which seems to be quite expensive and costs almost as much as a new twin size new mattress. Our regular garbage pickup company wants us purchase and enclose the mattress in a plastic cover, presumably to have it quarantined against spreading bed bugs. I intend to check with some charitable organizations that pick up and reuse old mattresses that are still in decent shape.
