I first got this serum when I was looking for a product that had all of the skin "whitening" ingredients rolled up into one. This one pretty much does and it is a great serum that really works. It has faded out a good deal of my freckles on my arms that are caused by sun exposure (i develope freckles with sun exposure). I am very pale with dark hair. Not only does this serum work with consistent, daily usage, it absorbs into my skin SOOO quickly and feels really nice. Its not sticky or thick but it is not so thin that it runs all over the place the second you pump it out. I do like the pump as well and the fact that it comes with a lid. I put it all over my arms and face daily (i also put it on my underarms once or twice week) and it lasts me like 3 months. I wash my face. Put on a calming toner (i specifically use single ingredient tones like mugwort, centella ect). Then I apply my adapeline retinol and follow it up with this serum. After this serum I will apply some ginseng product or other hydrating/calming serum followed with my moisturizer. Either a calming/healing one or my snail mucin & peptide eye cream from cosrx (yes i use it all over my face). If i need a more heavy duty cream i use my ceramedx. This routine plus twice weekly face masks from numbizin has given me the best looking skin i have ever.

This is designed as a serum, but because there is so little vitaman c in it I have to use a separate vitamin c serum, and because there is so little niacinamide in it I have to use a separate niacinamide serum... I wish they would get rid of the vitamin c & niacinamide, then instead increase the arbutin to 5% (rather than 2%), maybe even add in a penetration-enhancer like 5% mandelic or 5% lactic which would be very gentle, and maybe a touch of xantham gum to make it less runny... Then this would be THE BEST spot treatment for dark spots (which I get as a result of ingrown hairs which become infected no matter how often I use salicylic acid and azelaic acid)... To dream!

I bought this product after hearing a youtuber I follow recommend it. Now normally I don't just buy whatever is recommended. I know they get commissions a lot of times. This person does have a professional knowledge of the industry and has been someone who shares fantastic and insightful info. So I do trust what they say. That being said, I think this product packs a lot into this little bottle. Several ingredients versus just one or two. I have recently decided to take better care of my skin and I think this is an affordable product for starting my skincare journey. It is a small bottle, but it doesn't take much. It does seem to be making a difference in some hyperpigmentation issues I have so I will continue to use.

Like the components of the serum, very watery easy to absorb and add to my current routine, no pilling inspite of my numerous step routine 😅 does not cause any sensitive, easily tolerated The pump you have to press hard down to get serum out and than you have serum splatter all over, so make sure to pump on palm of hand. In terms of is it working or not, not sure I have an elaborate routine, but for sure my skin does not look any worst

The ingredients shown on the box, the image on the Amazon product page AND in the description on the product page all appear to be the same HOWEVER, the bottle shows additional ingredients that appear no where else. Ingredients that include phenoxyethenol and butylene glycol (derived from petroleum) both of which I absolutely don't use in my skin care. Had I known this I NEVER would have purchased this item. In addition to this, the product REEKS of perfume! And that isn't listed any where at all! So there are more ingredients these people are hiding. DO NOT TRUST THIS BRAND OR SELLER. When I complained about the issue to the seller, they didn't acknowledge the issue and just told me to return it. Mind you, because it's a third party seller, I have to pay the shipping. Needles to say I reported this to Amazon and asked them intervene with the ridiculous need for me to pay the return shipping cost. Please see the attached pictures for the "full" ingredient list.
