I was able to purchase this mattress for only $250 on prime day. I was skeptical but willing to take the chance for that price. It arrived in a box that was about 12 in.² and 6 feet tall. Extremely heavy. My BF and I had to call in a sturdier friend to help get it upstairs. And the instructions don’t lie when they say be careful when you cut the plastic…it EXPLODED! We had a good laugh over that. Luckily, I had thought to take down the low hanging chandelier in the room beforehand. Per instructions, we let it rest for about three days before moving it into our room. (that actually was not difficult. It somehow seemed to get lighter.) It is thicker than 14 inches which is great other than I had to buy sheets with a deeper drop. It’s every bit of 17 inches once it expands fully. The description said medium firm and it definitely is on the firmer side, but so comfortable. The edges aren’t very structured so it can be a little hard to sit on the side of the bed. And on the box spring and bed frame it is quite tall so I have to kind of launch myself in and if I don’t make it fully, I’ll sort of slide back off. But I’m honestly shocked how great it is especially the price.

This is the first mattress I’ve ever bought that came from a box. As soon as I took the wrapping off the bed instantly expanded. Totally worth the price it’s being sold for. It fit perfectly on my bed frame. The quality overall is very impressive. It didn't have any weird smells. The mattress is a little too firm for me. But, overall it gives me the support I need for a good night rest.

It’s very comfortable, soft but not so soft you sink into it. No bad smell, it was fairly easy to open especially since it comes with a special razor. Honestly, it’s way more comfortable than my last mattress and this was much cheaper. My partner and I have noticed a major difference as far as how long we sleep. Also, less body pain particularly in the hips. Hopefully it lasts.

The mattress is very soft on the outside edges. My wife and I have to sleep very close together in the center of the mattress in order not to fall out of bed.

I am updating my review - Although the mattress was not what I expected, my husband likes it. Not everyone has the same experience. I will say I don’t have any bodily discomfort while sleeping or waking up and I sleep well. But as stated below, just hard to navigate :). So I am upgrading to 3 stars. Original Review I thought that the bed would be firm. It wasn’t. I don’t like it when you sit in the edge of the bed and it sinks. It makes it difficult to sit on the edge and put on shoes. Also, when turning on my side was hard to get traction and turn over. I would not purchase again.
