I bought this to replace an older memory foam mattress by Sealy. I have lower back issues and I was waking up several times a night w my back and legs hurting so I felt it was time to replace the mattress. I am used to a firm mattress and wanted something a little softer. This mattress was advertised as “medium” firmness so I went w it. I’ve been sleeping on this mattress for 3 weeks now and am very happy. I mostly sleep through the night now and it has helped my back and legs a great deal. Once situated on the mattress I can feel it forming to my body. I like that. The only negative comment I can make is this. As other people have said, it’s a little firmer than I expected but it’s not a deal breaker.

I love this bed. I was expecting to have to be home for the bed to arrive thinking it was going to be this giant mattress … but it’s compressed into a small 4’ by 3’ box. It is heavy for the average person… I just tossed it side to side into the house. Then I carefully cut the plastic to air it out…it says don’t air it out in your room and leave 24 hours for it to form to its size … but i aired it out in my room, and gave it 8 hours…. It doesn’t smell like chemicals and It felt perfect to jump right into a nights sleep. It was well worth $400

This mattress is amazing. Once I opened it up, it expanded to 12 inches within the first 20 minutes and there was no odor! I love the mattress cover and I sleep so much better on my new mattress. I will never buy another mattress from a store...only this mattress and this brand from Amazon.com!

The softness or firmness of any mattress is clearly subjective. To me this mattress is much more firm than not. While it is mostly comfortable to sleep on and seems high quality, there is no sinking at all into a form fitting memory foam layer that I had hoped for with a medium firm mattress. I do awaken each morning with mild back pain which has caused me to purchase a plush topper for the mattress making it incredibly high off the ground. The mattress itself plumped up perfectly and seems to be of good quality. If it had a 100 night trial like most I would give more stars. But as consumers we are left to follow the subjective reviews of others and this time I didn't win.
