I am so happy that I finally found a firm mattress! I have bought two brands of mattresses before this one that had good reviews but turned out to be way too soft. I am so happy that I finally found one that I can sleep through the night without heat build up or sinking into it. It took me only two nights to get used to this mattress which is so much better than it took for the others. With the others I was in pain for an entire week, with this one I felt only slight rib pain for the first two nights most likely because I had been sleeping on to a soft mattress previously and had to get used to a firm mattress again. I have been looking for a mattress to replace a mattress I had for 30 years that was wonderful, I had bought it at furniture factory outlet that is no longer in business so I was on the lookout for one that was a good replacement and I finally found it. The previous mattress I have was a Tempur-Pedic mattress and gave support for my back and I have to say this one does the same. I'm also so happy that I am not getting hot through the night, my bedroom got all the way up to 78° Fahrenheit and I didn't get overheated from the mattress, I did have a fan going but all my other mattresses, I never could make it through the night without having to go put the air conditioner on. I prefer not to have a air conditioner going during the night because then my I start hurting. The fan that I put on I just face it up to the ceiling to just to circulate the air so it's not direct. I also was impressed by the quality of the mattress because other mattresses were made out of material that was cheap material but this mattress is more of of the slick-type material that the older mattresses were made from which makes it easier to clean if I ever needed to. I also put a mattress cover over it that would not overheat, it's made from bamboo and also it would soften a bit more of the mattress because I felt like the mattress was just a little firm for me. I bought the bamboo mattress cover off of Amazon so you can find it also so that you won't also get the mattress to overheat, I used a different mattress cover earlier on this mattress that was supposed to help repel water but I found that I lost the cooling Factor off of this mattress using it so it's important to make sure that if you put a mattress cover over it that you have one that's made of bamboo or something of that sort so it will work with the cooling in the mattress but also protect it. I'm 5'3 and weigh 170 lbs, so it supports an adult without sinking. I left it in my living room for three days to expand fully as the instructions say so I can still sleep in my old bed. I was heavy, my brother had to help me maneuver it to my room down a hall. It's a full size mattress, and the straps worked great for the last part of putting it on my platform. It expanded good and the thickness of height was correct, again the weight though is heavy so get help because that maybe why it took me two days to not wake up with back pain.

Do yourself a favor and get this mattress. I purchased this for my guest room and after being told how comfortable the bed was decided to test it out for a week. My back pain did not go away, but it did alleviate it a bit. I have this mattress and a 3 inch mattress pad in the guest room. I already had a 4 inch mattress pad on my bed so I ordered this mattress and put my existing mattress pad on it. Devine dahling…. Just divine! It feels like I am in a 5star luxury hotel bed. I am blown away by this super inexpensive mattress with my $100 mattress topper on it and the level of quality is feel. I will try to update again in a year and let you know how it is holding up. That will be the true test.

This bed is hard, which is EXACTLY what we needed. My husband is a bigger guy with back and neck issues and this bed is a game changer. We've bought 3 beds in the last 3 years-a sleep number that was great until it wasn't, another hybrid from Amazon that was impossibly soft and this one. We were looking for super firm andthat's what we got. No motion transferred when one of us moves, no indents. There is a nice comfy top on it too. The first night we slept on it, we both slept through without waking up. I can't say enough good about this bed, great value too.

UPDATED REVIEW: I purchased a 1.5" foam topper which made a worked of difference. Updated to 4 stars. "I wanted a firm, but not too firm, mattress, since I am mostly a side sleeper. Unfortunately, for some reason the manufacture decided to tuft the mattress top, which creates many pockets on the sleeping surface, rather than a smooth surface. These pockets--or pits--create multiple uncomfortable angles and pressure points, making for a very unsatisfying sleep experience. Returning a mattress is a MAJOR hassle, so I'll probably give this away to someone willing to come pick it up."

It's a tall mattress at 14". Nice Quality, seems well made. Only slept on it 4 nights now. Is really firm, great for people who sleep on their sides or back. I'm a Big guy and I sleep on my side. When I get up in the morning the mattress isn't sunken in at all. Holds it shape really well. Instructions say give it 3 days to expand before sleeping on it, which I did . One thing nice is if you sit in the side of it, it does crush down, but holds you up...and I'm 325 pounds So I would recommend this for someone who needs a firm mattress

Ok OMG !!!! I BOUGHT THIS FOR A FRIEND 350-370lbs This mattress is holding them up securely and they love it !!!! Only had it 2 nights but DAMN !!!
