A medium firmness with a side sleeper for me is a good choice. It was amazed that it fit in such a small box, but it was heavy. Logistics was fast and I received it the next day. I can't wait to open it and let it expand. The mattress does have a slight smell like most memory foam beds do. It went away soon. I’m comfortable When I slept on it well, I believe I made a good choice with this bed, as comfortable and well-made as it appears. Freshly ordered and set up, so far so good. No noxious odors, no issues with quality or damage, very comfortable.

First of all, It was well wrapped when it arrived. Second, pretty easy to open it and automatically expanded. The last and most important thing is it’s comfortable to sleep on. The hardness is just right to me, not too hard or too soft.

I was definitely expecting a little firmer because the product is squishy with a bit of sinking. You can slightly feel the springs but they are not too bothersome. There are no smells and it’s nice that you receive a little box cutter to open the package carefully. I would not recommend this bed for cosleeping for children/infants as that what I was planning to use it for (please be careful as infants are best sleeping on a firm mattress while they sink into it. This bed is not safe for that so I gave it to a family member) 2 month update: there is some sinking on one side of you sleep on that side often
