Very pleased with this purchase! This is a beautiful solidly built, real brass (or some kind of heavy metal) trumpet. Item arrived in a velvet lined hard case in excellent condition. No tarnishing, no dents or scratches. Came with a mouthpiece and valve oil. Sound quality is good. It did take quite a while to arrive but it was worth the wait! I will say that the valves were a little sticky, which has been something we needed to work on… we applied some valve oil and worked it a little, and that made them pop up much more smoothly! This would be such a great addition to a school band as the size of the instrument is much smaller and so it’s easy for kids to bring to school. Very portable and mobile. The trumpet itself is decent but the craftsmanship is horrible. The weld spots look horrible. The valves are too big for the casings so it makes a scraping sound whenever you push a valve down. The receiver isnt round so the mouthpiece wobbles. When it got here it smelled absolutely horrendous. The sound quality isnt too great its a bit airy. I know its only 80 bucks but i was expecting something a bit better than this. It also took over 2 months for the pocket trumpet to even get here. I wouldnt buy this unless you are incredibly desperate. ... show more

    • Don't work. No directions from seller to set up. Completely useless.
Doesn't work. No directions from seller to set up including the packaging. I actually had to clip on some of his competitors listings to view a video to prep the valves-still not working. Completely useless. Contacted the seller. He is overseas-seemingly in India. Couldn't really decipher his alleged English grammar for the updated "directions" to prep the trumpet. He wanted me to perform about a hour of additional prep so that when I blow in the trumpet, it actually works-imagine that. No thanks. Returning-an utter waste of time. ... show more
