I like that even though I was intimidated it was easy to complete. I did so in under 2hrs as a single woman who is not use to putting things this big together I only needed help towards the end when I had to join the headboard and footboard.. though I could have figured it out my sister was around so I got her to help. While it's not the pinnacle of sleep innovation, it accomplishes two things when properly assembled. Chief among them being very sturdy,and secondly it isn't dreadfully repulsive to look at. It's worth the cheaper price I assure you.

I found this bed frame not sturdy even though it is metal. Two weeks and the screws started coming out of the frame. Easy to put back in but I feel they should have used longer screws to begin with.

Updating this review with original review below. Though it has been a few months since this started, it only took a couple of weeks before the platform bars became noisy with every movement. Not ideal. The frame is still durable, but the silencer pieces are not as such. I am average build and girlfriend is slim, so weight really shouldn’t be a factor. Original review: Was upgrading from a full size bed to a Queen and needed a new platform bed frame. This was a perfect addition to the space. Other reviews have said it is difficult to assemble as it is picture-only instructions. Though challenging at times, it was pretty easy to figure out. I did use my own tools as the manual wrench provided would’ve made it take much longer to assemble. This is an extremely sturdy frame, my only snag is my mattress does slide on the platform poles. I absolutely love this bedframe! I built it by myself in about 2 1/2 hours, but it would’ve taken me less time if I hadn’t messed up on the first piece that I put together haha! One thing to know is that it is low to the ground
