Quality-Built Alternators are remanufactured for a perfect fit to your engine and are re-designed to operate with every turn of the key for relaiable performance. Housings are 100% blasted clean, all mounting threads are inspected and re-tapped for easy installation and consistent torque. Terminals are 100% OE-quality; high-temp insulators make connections secure and reliable. Rotors are electronically tested and coated with high dielectric insulation to ensure maximum durability and charging performance. Bearings are 100% inspected or new, with high-temperature grease for reduced heat and friction. Stators are electronically tested for maximum insulation quality and phase balance. Rectifiers are 100% load tested to ensure alternator durability and charging performance. Brushes & Springs are 100% new to ensure long life and charging performance. Pulleys are 100% plated or powder coated for maximum corrosion protection. Slip Rings are precision-polished for maximum output. Voltage Regulators are 100% tested for correct operating voltage.

Works fine. Rebuilt in China. Thought my CJ7 would care, doesn't. One star off for implying domestic (i.e. USA) and not mentioning the China connection. I will amend my review if it does not last.

    • Horrible refurbishment!
Installed and would not charge over 11.3v. Thought there was something else wrong with my car. On a hunch, I replaced it with another brand. While undoing the positive bolt, the post came loose from the back of the alternator. My hunch was correct! After replacing with an Ultima refurb from Oreilly, 14.4v on the first run! Unfortunately the return time is 30 days so I’m out $30 after the $15 core charge from Oreilly. Buy a different brand! The Ultima one at least has a lifetime warranty! ... show more
