It holds up in the wind at 100+ miles, down mountains on the bike, and through falls. I've dropped the phone and the case protects it. It refuses to leave its locked status until it's time. He bought a cheap version and his phone popped off while he was riding his bike at 25 miles per hour. He had to quick grab it before it flew off the bike and shove it under his crotch. He immediately realized that it’s always better to spend the money for a better product (as his mama has told him many times😂). Since he’s been using this case he’s had no issues. We just moved to a new state so he needs to have his phone visible so he can have his GPS on while he’s riding. This product is a win. His dad sometimes rides his bike and when he buys this case he will also be able to use the holder as well. I am a fan of Quad Lock products. I like the customizability and seemingly ever-varied options. The products are quite well made. I have found no sprues, no seams, no malformation. The center bolts are very good quality. The packaging is even quite nice. I enjoy their products so much so that it is distressing to me to be disparaging. Let me preface. I drive a Piaggio Liberty 150 abs motor scooter. I bought the mirror mount, shock mount, lever head, and case to fit my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Every piece works well, looks nice, and is sturdy. With regard to this case however, while it is very well made it is clear that it was not designed specifically for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The phone is secure in the case and the camera port lines up well, but it took far more fiddling than I have ever needed to do with any phone in any case to get this case to go over my phone completely. That is the first of 2 issues that i take with this phone case. The second is that there is no guide nor affirmation when trying to get the case onto the lever lock. When it locks in, it moves freely to lock and is secure but getting the x-hole in the back of the case to line up correctly with the x-mount on the lever lock is difficult. Note that once it is lined up it works perfectly. It just isn’t as simple as the promo videos make it out to be. In summary this is a fantastic product that can be a little bit better with better fit and some sort of alignment guide. I would would to be able to offer some comparison between Quad Lock and X-Ram but I have not used the latter as of yet. ... show more

I always used otter box cases. I chose to switch to the quad lock after a co worker started using one on his mtn bike. I bought a motorcycle and needed a way to attach my phone to the bike . Everything i saw was so clunky. I bought a Ducati superbike and there is very little room in the cockpit. Using this case and attachment system with a ball on it, a 3” ram arm amd a fork mount 1”ball o put together a very tidy low profile set up. Also am able to get wireless charger mounts for my cars. Only gripe is of you don’t have the ring thing installed in the recess, it’s a bit uncomfortable to hold as it feels like it’s missing something/ not smooth on the back. ... show more
