We have a row boat (Sears aluminum 1972!! From my PopPop), a canoe, and a couple of kayaks for our freshwater lake, and I'm always looking for something to use as an anchor so I can float, read, fish, or just relax in the middle of the lake in the peace and quiet. This anchor is great for just that purpose! It's portable and easily switched between the various water items we have. I like that it's not overly heavy, and it's designed for water without a heavy current or wash happening. I have a feeling ill be asked by my family to order a couple more so we can all anchor out and just enjoy the scenery and serenity. The price is a great one for this, too!

It is a pretty well made anchor. It comes with a carabiner, bag, rope, and the anchor. The bag is pretty nice too. The casting of the anchor is pretty good, not great, but it will work fine. The locking mechanism I think could have been a little better designed because it can easily come unlocked. The paint job doesn't seem like it will last, but we shall see. Overall, it is a decent product.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with this anchor. It's a simple design that's easy to use and seems quite sturdy. Plus, it comes with everything you need to anchor in water that's about 20 feet deep, which is pretty handy. However, I did notice a few things that weren't perfect. For one, my anchor had some issues with the hooks - specifically, two of the four hooks were a bit stiff and required some pressure to open and close. As a result, I could see some of the paint rubbing off. The other two hooks were totally fine and just flopped open and closed as expected. Now, I'm no expert on anchors, but I don't think these issues are a huge deal. They didn't really impact the anchor's ability to do its job, and for the price (just $30!), I think this is a pretty reasonable buy for anyone who needs to stay put in the water. All in all, the QPURO Marine Anchor Kit is a solid choice that won't break the bank. Just be aware that you may need to put in a bit of extra effort with those hooks!

I was looking for a good quality anchor for my kayak and this is definitely it. Good weight but not too heavy, not too large either - so it fits nicely (out of the way) on my kayak. Nicely painted, and all 4 hooks were easy to open, close and lock in either position. The rope is plenty and good size and quality. They even include a float (a must have), a carabiner, a whistle and a pouch to store everything. Absolutely no issues with this set - So this is an easy 5 Star review.

I love taking out the kayak, but I wanted to be able to rest and anchor without drifting or having to tie off somewhere. This was the solution! Now when I find a nice spot I want to hang out for a while, I can toss this into the water and relax without worry.
