    • Excellent Drying Rack with Minor Room for Improvement
I recently purchased this drying rack from Amazon, which has been an excellent addition to my kitchen. The overall quality of the product is fantastic, and it has proven to be a reliable and sturdy drying solution. The rack provides ample space for drying dishes, utensils, and even larger pots and pans. Its construction feels durable and well-made, ensuring that it will last for a long time. The design is simple yet functional, making it easy to assemble and use. The only minor suggestion I have to enhance this already great drying rack is to consider incorporating an angled bottom tray. Currently, the water tends to accumulate and puddle up, which can lead to a white residue forming as it dries. The water could effortlessly pour out by angling the tray, preventing any residue buildup and maintaining a clean drying surface. So the drain itself works great, some of the attachments that are sent with it are useless. EG: the wine glass drain, it will only hold two wine glasses. The regular glass drain attaches to the front and hangs off by two side hooks, it works well. The silverware cup that attaches to the rear should have been made a little shallower as it does not fit well over the rear of the rack, because of this the water from your silverware will drain onto the supplied drain mat that go's under the rack. Not enough water to worry about, just annoying. The biggest issue is the drain pipe, its not an issue for us, but can be if you have a high ridge sink. As you see in the supplied picture, if our ridge was any higher, the drain pipe attachment would not work unless you prop up both ends to be higher than the ridge. What we love about it, the upper portion that holds your dishes and bowls does work wonderfully, even the bottom of the rack does a good job holding stuff. Its definitely well made. The rack itself is rubber coated and the drain board is a heavy rubbermaid like product. Just remember to remove the drain plug in the center of the drain board. The rack is slightly larger than the standard ones you would buy at a big box store. It was well packaged and shipped rather quickly given the supply shortage we are experiencing right now. ... show more

    • Great dish rack - two small caveats
I researched multi tier dish racks for months before purchasing. The reviews for this one sold me. It really is a very good dish rack - plenty of space for various items, fits nicely on counter. I have 2 qualms with it. First is that the add-on racks do not secure well. I wish they came with fasteners, at least for the knife accessory. Ours was filled with knives and easily toppled over, causing knives to go flying. We secured it ourselves. Next is that the draining hole isn’t sunken in enough or I suppose the plain isn’t inclined enough. Unless you have a ton of liquid, water (and whatever else) sits and pools on the lower rack instead of flowing down the drain. Otherwise, it is definitely sturdy and looks nice. I have owned this drying rack for almost 2 years. It is well constructed, sturdy and suitable for a single person household without too many dishes, bowls or pots. However, it has many flaws you should consider if you is going to purchase. First, it is too complicated. It has a total of 6 parts. That’s great but to me, not necessary because it will use up all the surrounding spaces on the counter and you can’t even use them. I decided to just use some of them to save the spaces. Second, the draining mechanism is a disaster. It has a small hole to drain water through a small tube to the sink, but that hole is prone to stuck and become a haven for mold growth. It can’t even easy to clean that hole. Third, as I said before, it is suitable for one-person household because the second tier clearance is so small, so I almost can’t put medium-to-large bowls or discs beneath it. It limits the available spaces that I could use. However, the drying mat is a plus. In conclusion, it is not for people who like to cook a lot or large households. ... show more
