Usually I work with motorized bicycles and small engines for motorsports but this carb was a surprise for me. It reminds me of a pz19 but in black and with a larger size. The screws I don't like, for it prevents me to tune the carburetor but it's a trade off for performance. For now I'm happy with it's performance so far but at full throttle due to the tuning issues but will be fine. 4 out of 5. ... show more

    • Modded a 5hp Briggs with this
I had tried a similar carb with choke on right side but it smacked the head of the Briggs and I could not use the choke. Saw this carb, some images showed choke on right, some on left, took a chance and sure enough, it was on left, opposite how other carb was setup and I could mount and use the choke. Bought a thumb throttle assembly and now my 60s Toro tiller is modded to make more than the rated 5hp and with a tank I can remove and clean, I can finally stop worrying about moisture in the tank plugging up my inlet tube into my carb. Old system was carb mounted on a tank and every other year always an issue no matter if filled with fuel or drained as my storage building had dirt floor. Now I can drain and have ability to flush any water out prior to a new season, I can remove my fuel tank and swish a little oil in the bottom and the tiller will run every spring n fall like I need.. I just run a stead RPM, or try to, I set the stop so just push wide open and it just barely lifts my slide, enough to get RPMs into range of use for tiller.. All is good for now. ... show more
