This is THE pan for that third layer of tiramisu that you could never manage. This will be the go-to for my endless vegetable lasagna. No more ridiculously-fragile deep disposible aluminum pans with paper-thin lids that don't fit after the pan walls flex slightly from lifting. This pan and lid seem sturdy enough to last years. The lid fits snug, but I did not test for water-tightness. This is not the kind of lid for that, and I don't intend to store soup or watery casseroles, anyway! I want to note that this is the absolute perfect lid design for a tall casserole/dessert. It allows for extra room at the top of your masterpiece so it doesn't get crushed and ruined. I can make a cake with a layer of frosting and all ready to transport. I came directly to Amazon when I realized my Publix didn't carry the Pyrex 13x9" covered casserole dish in deep. I found exactly what I was looking for in no time, at a good price. I'm happy and can't wait to try my next layered dish in this pan! ... show more

These are a great depth and bonus that the tops match my kitchen. My first dish in one was baked ziti, which fit so well! But I will say I’m disappointed the sauce stained the top and I haven’t been able to get it out. So sad as it’s so new and I wouldn’t have thought Pyrex would have stained.

Ex took my 20yo Pyrex so had to buy new. These are even better. Love the deep dishes! Made several side dishes and filled the oven with all these. From oven, to table, cools down and pop lid on and in the fridge they go.
