I am signed up for the subscribe and save option for these and buy the 3-blade 20 count package. That makes these even less per blade. At well under a buck per blade these work quite nicely on my 50 yr old whiskers. Not sure why anyone would continue buying the name brand ones after trying these out. I get about 3 shaves per blade and then toss them since they are so cheap. They do tend to dull a bit after the 3rd shave which is also typical of the big brand name ones as well. The handle has a little weight to it so it feels good in your hand / fingers. It has a somewhat soft rubber applied to the handle that makes it easy to hold and maneuver around your face. The blade head pivots enough to fit all the contours of your face with ease. Not much else to say about these except give them a try and see for yourself.

I'm one of those guys who hates having to pay 3 to 4 dollars for a single blade that is over engineered. A blade with 5 cutting edges is too big and is ridiculous. I've tried most of the lower priced blades out there and found them disappointing. Poor quality, don't hold their sharpness beyond a a single shave, cheap feeling handle, etc. However, when i tried the Amazon Basic 3 blade I finally found what I was looking for! Well made, sharp blades, a price that hard to believe, and a good hefty feel to the handle. Plus the 3 blades suits me perfectly. The blades are long lasting and sharp. Simply these are best low cost blades I have tried....and believe me I've tries a lot of them! Try them and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I'm 53 with a beard. I've used Gillette Sensor Excel razors for years, because the razor head would remain straight at the top and cut a straight line where I chose. I've been unlucky to find a modern alternative that swivels. This razor has a solid weight closer to my father's single blade razor. The head remains static at the top allowing for a straight cut where I choose to cut. The head swivels over the jaw and under the neck similarly to my son's very modern multi-blade razor. The price for this model is great, as a 10 pack of blades from Gillette Sensor Excel is 3x as much as this product. Pros: Weight, solid feel, apparent quality. Straight cut, adequate swivel. Price. Cons: None. I recommended this product to my son this morning!

Consumer Advocate Clark Howard's website reports that he shaved for 1 entire year on a really cheap disposable razor. He said the secret is to clean and dry the razor after each shave and store it in a dry place. News Flash! Stainless steel does rust! So..... BEFORE you trash the razor you have & switch to another brand, consider this: It's possible that ANY QUALITY disposable razor can deliver hundreds of shaves by cleaning, drying, and stropping (see YouTube) after each shave. If this works, we'll all save a FORTUNE! I hope this review helps you save money, and if it does, you have Clark Howard to thank. YMMV. I DO recommend Amazon 3 blade Basic disposable cartridge razor, but admit I haven't tried any of the other similar razors. My plan to SAVE MONEY: I'm an 80 year old white male with 7 day growth of medium whiskers for my 1st shave. Result with Cremo shaving cream in a tube was a very close shave, no nicks, & easy rinsing & no clogging. Pivoting gimbal head keeps blades in perfect contact with contours of my face & neck. I'm retired, so I'll shave every 5th day = 73 shaves/year using Cremo Cooling cream cuz it smells & feels sooooo good! I'll take meticulous care of the razor which includes using the back side of a regular leather belt (or denim cloth if I find a piece) to strope the blades a few times to sharpen the blades when necessary. I'll report how many shaves I get from 1 cartridge. I hope it keeps going like the Ever Ready Bunny. Again, try Clark Howard's tips with the razor you already have because.... well, what do you have to lose?

I was looking for a replacement for the major brand I had been using. I tried a 5 blade razor and it did not shave smooth and couldn't be easily cleaned. This one seems to give a comfortable, close shave at a fraction of the cost of the major brand.

Not the same as a 5 blade razor but pretty close. Can usually go weeks without shaving and a 5 blade will whip my beard right off. 5-6 days and this razor struggles. Great for daily shaving though.

I tried these blades over the Gillette, and I could say that I'm satisfied but I'm still wishing a little bit more from the razor, because it is losing its sharpness over a short time, considering that I'm not fully shaving, only outlining my beard. Regards to the price, you're taking and excellent tool home.

Blades are very sharp and it shaves as well as any I have used. They last about 50% longer than any other blades I have used. The only downside is the handle. The blades are a bit cumbersome to change, and difficult to hold at the right angle. You have to "choke up" and hold the handle close to the head. To be fare, there are small notches to hold on to, but still a bit strange
