Update 18 Nov 2024: (from 3 now at 5 stars) Pyle Tech Support sent me the missing pieces, they arrived 6 work days after the report. I think that is pretty fast and painless for a consumer item. Tech support came through, so this was a solid buying experience, kudos to them. I'm still not sure why those parts were missing in the first place. After using it at an event, the unit works well as long as your microphone is more than 10 feet away from the speaker, otherwise you get cutouts (feedback suppression, maybe?). Used bluetooth both with the phone and the laptop - works perfectly. *Original Post*: Arrived missing the headset microphone + beltpack. I checked the box and styrofoam and bags 3x with another person. I need that headset mic, it was part of the purchase decision. Makes me wonder if this was a returned item sold as new ... or was it missing those parts from the factory? Amazon directed me to Pyle's website for support. Waiting for a response... The rest of it: unit arrived charged, buttons and knobs feel pretty good. Handheld mic worked fine with included AA batteries. Remote works fine with included AAA batteries. FM radio feature doesn't pull in stations that well for me. Bluetooth works great. ... show more

Perfect low cost powered pa speaker. This speaker was perfect for what we needed to do our events. We play these at low volume though out the event field. Please don’t expect a high volume blasting crystal clear bass shaking speaker because this isn’t it. This is a great speaker for use where volume and sound quality are not so important. These speakers worked perfectly for us over a 4 hour long event playing low to moderate volume for a comfortable listening environment. The built in radio has a great tuner and received our signal nice and clear from a part 10 compliant FM transmitter that we used at the event. ... show more

The mics have to be right in front of your mouth for the sound to be picked up. The one that pins on your shirt is useless because it doesn't pick up unless you got it against your mouth. The hand held mic 🎤 I had to glue back because it came unglued in shipping but it is fixed now. Speaker works great! ... show more

Please save your time and money! I purchased this PA system last minute for a retirement party. I received it and charged it up and tested it at home. All seamed good until the next day at the party. The system worked for the first hour and then the battery kept cutting out and the microphones would not work. I immediately plugged it in and attempted to salvage its use for the party. Even plugged in it kept cutting out every 10-15 minutes. I did find that if the microphones weren't in use that one was able to use it as a large speaker with an iPod plugged into it but that was it! I attempted to return it to AMAZON and they were not going to give me a refund on their website but after I got them on the phone they gave me a total refund and told me there was no need to return the device and to just donate it or throw it away! My husband is a horse trainer and clinician and bought this to use for his clinics at barns that don't have their own. We set it up last night, which was a quick and easy process. Everything worked perfectly and after a few adjustments it was clear and easy to understand. It was loud enough to be heard everywhere. The headset was comfortable and easy to wear.
