Very well made/constructed. Easy to adjust for your height/angle/directional requiremements. Photos show the logo "Pyle" on the stem, but mine came without any such decal or printing. If you wish to hide the speaker wire inside the stem (which is hollow) by running the wire through the ceiling and then into it, you'll need to drill a custom exit hole near the lower pivot point after the mount is set to your specific adjustments----this will make further adjustments very difficult. ... show more

This is a really good product. Lots of options with the angles, adjusting the pivot to fit your application. I was able to use them from both the wall and ceiling, and they are sturdy. Speakers are going nowhere ! The screws can be a little dicey to thread or remove, but is well worth the amount of flexibility the plate and rotating pivot provide. ... show more

Mine have a square top plate with two sets of holes (I used the smaller inner holes). It seems sturdy (rated for speakers up to 75 pounds) and at $25/pair is inexpensive. The assembly hardware was all chrome/nickel plated instead black. It is invisible in my application so I can live with it; otherwise, would place a piece of black electrical tape over the hardware, use a black marker, or paint. There is no hardware to mount the stand to the wall or to the speaker; I was not expecting any since both depend upon your application (wall/ceiling material and thickness, speaker mounting points and such). There were no instructions but it was not hard to assemble. I do wish it included a template for the mounting plates; I could have used a piece of paper or cardboard to make one but got by. The bolts attaching the swivel bracket to the mounting plate were loose, and I did not notice until I had a couple assembled, so I had to take them down, take the speakers off, and tighten the nuts. Check first, duh. The biggest con, as mentioned by others, is that the inner tube is not captured securely. The mounting bolt that holds it in place vertically does not prevent the inner tube from turning slightly and rattling. Several layers of friction tape helped but I may drill and use a small self-tapping metal screw to keep it from rotating or rattling over time. Some sort of sleeve or shim really should be included, or a small pilot hole in the outer tube at the bottom and screw to secure it once it is in position. Good value for the money but expect to do a little tweaking on your own. ... show more

These things work great and hold the speakers nicely however like someone else posted these use chrome hardware for some dumb reason, had to take a sharpie and black it all out, kinda a pain but looks awesome now

Great mounts. Wall or ceiling, these will hold. Very versatile. I've used them several times now on both in a home use, as well as in a commercial space. The brackets are good for speakers and for other items that mount and have mounting holes. I've used them to mount WIFI AP's to open warehouse ceilings. As well as security cameras. ... show more

Despite what's shown in the pics and the tilt angles available, these are absolutely not suitable for support a speaker in any configuration other than hanging. A singular bolt connects between the rod and the tilt bracket, which means it can spin no matter how tight you make it. There is nothing that prevents this rotation. Furthermore, the tilt angle doesn't go far enough when in hanging orientation. 90 degrees straight out is the best you can do. So, if your speakers have mounting holes on the top and bottom, you're totally out of luck. This mounting bracket is totally unusable. ... show more
