I like this watch a lot! After fussing with smartwatches, I find the older stuff is refreshingly simple and functional. This has all the features I need. Date, time, stopwatch functions are all functional. I especially like the pedometer - it measures not only steps, but also distance, time and calories. It starts automatically after midnight. But you can stop it and reset it anytime. I use it to clock my morning walk, then let it run the rest of the day so I can see my total steps for an entire day. I don't know how accurate the step count is, but you can adjust other settings to provide reasonably accurate distance and calorie data. I have not used the sleep function, and see that as more of gimmick. Similarly, I have not used the workout reminder function. The watch band is large and comfortable - my wrists are large and there is still plenty of room for growth LOL. The instructions for the watch are well written and it's not too difficult to figure out how to set everything. The only negatives are the time display has a slightly darker background than the rest of the watch face. Also, the colors shown on the description are not accurate. I ordered what I thought was purple based on the color display, and it turned out to be pink (not a 'macho man' color). I ordered a second watch and what appeared to be black turned out to be grey (but the grey is attractive!). Overall, for the price this is a great watch

UPDATE: Since my initial review below, and after reading further information in the instructions, it states, to paraphrase, if the watch freezes, as mine did on the SLEEP MODE, TO PRESS "simultaneously" ALL FOUR BUTTONS, WHICH RESETS THE WATCH--It worked!! ( of course, information will need to be reentered) BUT, now this watch works like a charm! so, NOW, I am giving 5 stars! I am happy now with this purchase at a VERY reasonable price. I JUST READ THE FOLLOWING REVIEW, AS THE SAME THING HAS HAPPENED TO ME. I ONLY HAS THIS WATCH FOR A WEEK, AND IT IS STUCK IN SLEEP MODE! I am just copying and pasting this person's review because it is EXACTLY what I am experiencing NOW. I WILL RETURN IT TOMORROW!! The reviewer writes: "...wanted an inexpensive watch pedometer and was also intrigued by the sleep monitoring function. I wasn't quite ready to spring for a fitbit or some other more expensive device because I wasn't sure how much I'd like to wear something like that all the time and get enough use to be worth the cost. The first day was great and it was great to see the steps add up on the pedometer. When I went to bed that night, I decided to put it in sleep mode. When I woke up, I discovered that sleep mode didn't actually work and the watch was stuck in sleep mode and I could not get back to regular mode where I could view all the modes. On Sleep mode, only Sleep, Alarm, and Time modes are available. I read the instructions repeatedly (which were perfectly clear, just not remotely effective), and tried multiple times to get out of sleep the mode following the instructions precisely. No luck. My husband did the same, still no effect. When I searched Google to find a solution, I discovered that a similar watch from this manufacturer had one star on Amazon and several of the reviewers said that their watches got stuck on Sleep mode too and there was no real solution. I will be returning this watch."

Update for earlier review: I initially gave this watch a 5-star rating, both for the watch and for customer service but am downgrading the rating to a one-star because of the watch band. The band on this watch does not last. I bought this watch a few months ago, and the seller gave me a replacement for a broken band. Now, after using the replacement watch for about a month, the band on the replacement watch is broken also. Really disappointing since I like the watch, especially the size of the displays on the face. I don't find the step or mileage counter to be all that accurate but that is not essential for me. This watch has all the basics I need, is easy to use and program. I like the size of the watch face and graphics which makes it easy to read and track while running without having to wear reading glasses to read the data on the watch face.

Product was professionally shipped and arrived on date as said. Setting up and walking with the watch was great. Features and functions were performing good. The watch shuts off at midnight automatically. Then the next morning i turned on the watch, it flashed and screen froze. Was very upset. First time buying this brand...most likely my last.

I have never written a review but this watch is not worth the time nor money to buy. My wife bought this watch for our 11-year old daughter for her birthday. She also purchased a 3-year protection plan. The watch stopped working within a few weeks so we changed out the battery. It worked again for awhile and then stopped working for good. The band also broke during this period. Customer service was very helpful to get the watch replaced but I don't know that it is worth it. We got the replacement watch 2 weeks ago. This morning my daughter came downstairs in tears because the band broke again while she was putting it on. I would never buy from Pyle again and recommend spending the extra money on Suunto or Garmin. I use those for running any have never had problems over the 4+ years I have had my watches.

This watch is HUGE and I do not have delicate wrists for a female. Also, I'm left-handed and for the pedometer function to work correctly, the instructions state it needs to be worn on the left wrist, which is the wrong wrist for me. I also wanted the second function to show on the main time-telling mode of the watch. It does not. I also don't understand why there are directions on the face of the watch as if it can be used as a compass. From everything I read in the directions, it cannot, so this seems to be a useless decoration. The watch is okay, just doesn't work for my needs. I'll be returning it.
