Ever since I had my surgery, I need to keep careful track of my measurements. Using an ordinary measuring tape was difficult to do by myself and inaccurate. This tape measure takes the difficulty away and makes it easy to get accurate measurements. The accompanying app makes it easy to keep track. I just hit one button when I'm sure the result is accurate and it's recorded right into the app and Apple Health. The only critique I have is it can be tricky to get the loose end into its notch so you can tighten the tape up. I circumvent this by locking the loose end into its groove first making a loop then slide the loop on to whatever I'm measuring and then tighten it. It's a minor inconvenience and not worth taking away a star. This tape has made my life so much easier and I'm really glad I purchased it!

I've contacted the manufacturer and I'm hoping for a response. I took 5 measurements and the it just stopped working. Won't transmit the measurements to the app. It won't even turn off Update : I contacted Rephno and their customer support contacted me. The product was defective so they sent me a new one. This appears to be working. Thank you for great customer service

I had higher expectations for this then what I should have. This device works great and has the added bonus that your measurements can be transferred to the app for record keeping of your health. The drawback is that it's really no easier to use than a tape measure. There's still the awkward holding one end while trying to move the tape around your arm or leg etc. To get an accurate reading you have to push a button before you start pulling the tape out and then release it when you're done. It is nice that the readings are automatically recorded in the app if you're using that. It's just that taking the measurements themselves won't be much easier with this device. So this one I get used is often as I thought that it would but my main reason in purchasing it is I already had the scale and the blood pressure monitor that uses the same app. I don't regret buying this and I think it will be useful. And it is nice that the app can keep track of the measurements for me with my other health measurements.

I wasn’t sure what to expect given the reviews. I was so excited to use the tape measure. It measured perfectly but wouldn’t transfer to the app. I was very discouraged and thinking about returning it. Then I remembered there were 2 apps. I switched over to the new one and it works perfectly. Measuring is such a challenge for me as my eyes get older. This makes it really easy. We have the scale too, which I love. I find the tape measure easy to use. No issues at all.

This is one of the most awkward items I have every tried to use. I had bariatric surgery and wanted to be able to keep track of my measurements easily. This tape measurer took some time learning to use and it didn't always record the measurement and I would need to unhitch and do it again, which is frustrating! I do like how it kept track of the measurements, but it isn't something I find to make taking measurements less time consuming. It is awkward to hold and record. I had to use my non dominate had a lot and then couldn't ready the measurement. It is much easier to just use a seamstress fabric tape measurer.

I always struggled with other measuring tapes but this one is great. I love the digital feature so I don’t have to twist and contort to get accurate readings. And having the value sync with my device has made tracking process easier!
