This product solves a problem for me. I practice with my pedalboard a lot and this gives me the choice of 6 XLR/1/4" combo inputs for my outputs. I use a DI box, a walrus audio canvas, tech 21 sans amp bass di, shift line twin and a mic so it was a pain plugging and unplugging xlrs into the back of my PA speaker when I wanted to switch from one input to another. As a guitarist, the button to select between Line level and hi-z is really nice! They really thought this product out well. What I do now is simply turn up the volume on the channel I want to hear and turn down the volume on the other ones. I like how it has an input for headphones, very handy for practicing dawless jamming with my guitar and pedalboard. When its time to record into my computer, I put the outputs of this into the inputs of my soundcard and can select which channel to record by simply turning down the faders on the track I don't use. Size is perfect. It doesn't take up much space on my desk at all. I haven't seen a small mixer like this on the market. It's my fav piece of 'boring' gear I own. Runs on5V DC (included), did not see a battery bay. Rugged. Perfect form factor. Stick a USB key, starts playing. Also can record on it. Six combo mic/instrument inputs with individual phantom and impedance toggle switches. Channel 7 takes a 1/4 inch male TRS, Channel 8 is a mono 1/4 inch TS. One little minor detail got overlooked: channels 7 an 8 have a shared volume knows, and are missing EQ knobs. Channel strips contain two band EQ, High and low; effect level, pan, and channel volume knobs. For main outputs, we got L and R Male XLR, and a quarter inch TRS for headphone with its separate volume knob. MP3 is format of recording, gets its own volume knob and transports. Main outputs have a common volume knob controlling both channels equally. Bluetooth is what am I digging into, seems like a very good implementation. To be noted, it is not a powered mixer, will need active monitors or amp. I am basically using it on my desktop, and the computer speakers seems adequate for the application. ... show more

Update: 11/14/2025 knocked down from 5 stars to one star. After about 10 power ups only and only 2 hours of use, in the last few months, this unit has failed it's right channel output, it's just now a expensive worthless piece junk, with noise. 2nd electronic device by Pyle that has failed under barely used conditions. My 35 old radio shack 4 channel mini analog stereo mixer keeps on keeping on though! **Retracted original former post: Great small form factor design for the price. A few livable limitations, like no individual channel gain controls. Each channel does have a volume output control. Mic/instr 1-6 have EQ high low controls. Channels 7-8 vol and bal controls only with 1/4" inputs. All other channels xlr/1/4 input with 48v individual in out button. USB port/mp3 reads song titles...but not a roledex type song search, but it's a plus! Nice and clean sound with no hum/ground plane (filtered very well). I'd but again. ... show more

This is my second Pyle mixer used for daily public recordings. I bought the smaller version and we needed something a little bigger for events with more xlr inputs. We liked the first one so much that we went with Pyle for the slightly larger one as well. They operate flawlessly and I'm very happy with the design and extra options provided with the USB and Bluetooth. Best “bang for your buck” mixer we have found.     • A little noisy but overall good
This mixer stands out as one of the few compact options offering this many XLR inputs, which was my primary requirement. We're using it for our musician talkback microphones, running five mics into it. A single output then feeds into our Allen & Heath Qu-32, which distributes to our personal monitor mixers. We have abundant gain, and the EQ is sufficient for achieving clear vocal articulation. It's as straightforward to operate as any other analog mixer, and its small footprint keeps it conveniently out of the way. I bought this for my DJ booth because I wanted to have my mixer up on top behind my controller, easy to reach. And I needed it to fit in a space front to back a maximum of 8 inches. This is the only mixer I could find online that fit that measurement. Now I don’t know if I noticed it in the beginning, and just ignored it or didn’t notice it until I received it but there are no gain knobs. Just volume. So you can’t do proper gain structure to help avoid feedback, etc. Plus at only $115, I was a little worried about its quality. I’ve used it one time ant an wedding and so far so good. No complaints. It does have a few on board FX, but nothing that I would ever use. I run my DJ controller and my 3 microphones into this little mixer and then out to my EV Evolve 50 speakers. I do wish that the XLR inputs for the “master out” were the opposite direction. This forces the right angles to go towards the back of the mixer and I don’t have the room for that. So I was forced to use straight XLRs. It’s not a dealbreaker, more of an aesthetic preference for me to hide them from the audience view. Thankfully, my iPad kind of blocks them. To summarize, if you’re looking for something small and compact, this is a great little mixer for you. If you’re looking for something that you must have gain knobs, then you might want to go with something different. ... show more
