If you are on the fence about this product, I'm telling you it's is awesome. Nobody is endorsing me. I have 4 decades of experience with sound, I play guitar. This pre amp isn't for guitar, I'm just saying that l have been looking for the holy sound of tone. Just about everything these days are solid state or digtical In the guitar world, which l live in it's all about tone. Any guitarist will tell you that a tube amp is far superior to a solid state amp. I saw this little pre amp and l thought it would be cool to have to play music thru my smart phone, and watch movies. So l bought this Pyle pre amp and a pair of 100watts speakers. The speakers are made for indoor and outdoor use. All together it was cheap, but in the back of my head this little pre amp with tubes caught my interest, so l bought them. All together it was a little over 100 dollars. I wasnt expecting much l just wanted my phone to play music a little bit louder. Like l said I've been playing guitar for 40 years and have trained my ears for great sounding tone. Honestly, this was the best purchase of my life. I am amazed at the sound quality, the warmth and clearity. This truly blew me away. I pay thousands of dollars for tube amps for guitar. Because tube amps are superior for playing guitar. Now this pre amp isn't made for a guitar, but it's the best sounds for smart phones (l use Pandora). It's increadable. I haven't hooked it up to my T.V. and probably won't because I don't watch that much because of commercials. I'm sure it would be great. I'm just going to use it for my Bluetooth smart phone to watch movies and listen to music. Again it was the best purchase of my life, for the money it's truly incredible. ... show more

Packs a big punch for such a small unit. I have this paired with MB42 book shelf speakers that I purchased on Amazon and they sound amazing, these speakers will probably even get better as the break in. The only downfall is when the unit is turned on and off it defaults to Bluetooth and for me I always use AUX in. Also if you are wondering if you need banana clips for the speaker inputs, you don't. The treble could be a little more intense but overall this is a good unit for the price. Maybe with more play the sound could get better as the tubes heat up, but I only listened to one song before this review. ... show more

No, this is not putting out 600 watts. Yes it's cheap, compact, and mildly attractive. Needed to power some 100w Sonos speakers and this amp is not pushing out anything near that. Bass comes out distorted, treble is crisp. I'm getting about 25 feet of straight line-of-sight range with bluetooth. Advertised rates it at 40+ feet. I'm so confused how they arrived at this 600 watt number. Giving 3 stars because of it. BE SURE TO PLUG IN THE BARREL PLUG BEFORE PLUGGING IT INTO THE WALL. It will spark fiercely. ... show more

the unit looks good on a shelf, but the problems will start soon. The knob does not move smoothly, it sticks in certain positions. the sound will cut out to specific speakers when in different settings. These problems within the first weeks. but I tried to problem solve it over time with no success. I then decided to reach out to AMAZON and Pyle for a repair or replacement but I was 3 weeks too late. My return window closed on 9/24.     • Sweet warm tube sound from a clean digital poweramp

I have a bunch of old speakers lying around from back in the day when we used to have stereo systems. I purchased this remarkably modest Bluetooth compatible tube amp on a whim but in practice this unit has been an insane delight. Whether tethered to my phone or tablet or plugged into my vintage Denon tape decks technics turntables (must use phono pre-amp to feed this unit it does not have a RIAA curve) or Kenwood FM tuner this amp has exceeded all of my expectations. I have used it to drive a number of different speakers and am astounded by the clarity and space it imparts to any audio--especially how it enlivens digital material. Even heavily compressed .mp3s from the late 90s and poorly mastered 80's CDs sound lively and organic. I cannot recommend this amp highly enough. My sole complaint is the bright blue LED is distracting in an otherwise pitch black dark listening room but the gorgeous dimensional and glassy "Tube Sound" is well worth it-and can be cured with a little piece of black tape. The amp pairs instantly with all my Bluetooth devices and brings out the best from each of my many speaker pairs. With a low noise floor and tube-based harmonic sweetening you will get true audiophile quality playback. Sometimes you spend a lot for a little-this is not much cash for big boost in experience. If you can't hear a difference then maybe upgrade your speakers, use good wire and good banana plugs. I think you too will be a believer. ... show more

The price is great for what you get. The fan is as loud as you should expect it to be. If the placement is right it won't matter. The sound quality going into the 500w 4ohms Rocktower is fantastic. It gets loud and the beats are quite heavy no distortion. And mine has an optical audio input, not cable comes with it. The controls are simple. Set up is simple with the 12 AWG banana plug speaker cables I got. Likely this would be great at handling an entire home theater. I'm sure it has limitations, it's not really meant for studio production, definitely see some potential though with the right peripherals. ... show more
