I installed an SD card and a flashdrive (both with MP3's) before power up. Connected to two book shelf speakers rated 100w max 8 ohm. Initial power up went to SD and at 1/3 master volume, it was LOUD. Flashdrive same; set the volume to 1 or 2. The folder / track knob works to scroll through the 'track numbers' - titles and MP3 tags are not displayed. Others complained about FM sensitivity as poor. I switched to FM and hit auto (with NO antenna installed) and it stopped and programmed 30 stations. About the same as my car. I do have too many weak stations that I have to skip; 5 or 6 are excellent / strong. I'll retry with antenna. Volume same as SD/USB. Blue tooth connection to phone was easy but volume is noticably less. I'm playing Pandora (192K) over Android Pixel. Buttons on phone control volume, I had to turn Master up to about 1/2 to give me a decent range using phone volume control. No prob. The Reverb and Delay only work with microphone jacks. I plugged in an acoustic electric guitar cord to Mic 1 and it works GREAT. Big surprise, usually instrument signals too weak (guitar volume was set at about 1/3 on a Fishman PU on a Martin 6 string). So now I can Karaoke guitar to any of the inputs which I'll use much more than a Mic. I didn't test 2 mic inputs at once.. yet. The reverb works VERY well with the guitar. Delay works but I don't use it much. Better for vocals. Blue tooth distance tested fine - about 50 feet to kitchen. Having separate bass and treble is a return to heaven LOL. KNOBs are king. Sound is great, the MP3s a bit better than the bluetooth, but my bluetooh source is only 192K. I'll try spotify's 320K next. This is a great little receiver. Note I didn't test the Line inputs (CD/DVD) nor line out. But, the Headphone jack Does silence the main speakers as expected. Sound quality there is fine (corded headphones). Get one ! ... show more

This has good power and features for basic 2 channel home stereo for the price. Very solid and heavy with a beefy heat sink. It supports many options. The volume issue transitioning is a bit annoying, but the issue that bothers me most is very primitive folder and tracking on music files played from USB or SD. It doesn't even make it to a primitive mp3 player level. You can try to organize your files, but cannot be sure how it sorts them. It doesn't identify tracks or folders in a useful way at all. Haven't tested BT range yet as I haven't had for long, but it worked just fine. Radio and remote seemed fine. It did also include FM and speaker wire, though you might want to replace either with better components. ... show more

This device was very easy to set up. It works great. I have speakers built into my overhang of my house. My built in outdoor speakers sound amazing. Excellent sound and quality for the money, I highly recommend this receiver!

I purchased a used - like new (likely a returned item for $56) and so far, no regrets. I read most of the 1, 2 and 3 star reviews before buying the returned amp. I tested all of the functions especially the Bluetooth connection (with android table and laptop) and did not experience any issues. The sound quality is very good with my Bose speakers (there is a noticeable hum at no volume but acceptable). The manual is not very detailed and should only be used as a reference guide. It also needs a better FM antenna but the scanning does work and the channels are auto assigned. Overall...with the features (esp. BlueTooth, USB and SC card support) for the cheap price, it's a keeper. ... show more

This is a great little unit. Works perfectly and was easy to set up with our disc changer and Bose speakers. The sound is GREAT. This unit is very versatile in that it does CDs/ USB and SD card...and to top it off it's blue tooth. Amazing product for the the money. You can't go wrong!!
