  • Sounds great... buy at this price!
Size: 41" Style: Amplifier Kit
The quality of the sound... this is a beautiful sounding instrument with great resonance. I have found the details of construction and finish to be almost perfect. It is a small dreadnought size but just right for me. I am a little less happy with the quality of the "extras" but the price is right. Do not hesitate to buy if you are looking for a good first instrument! It is an "all inclusive" kit, for sure. ... show more

  • Overall good but tuner broke after 2 months
Size: 30” Style: Standard Kit
At first I was really happy with the product but after a month the tuner broke and now I can’t return. The tuner made a huge difference in the tone quality, external tuners aren’t the same :/

  • WELL WORTH $60 SALE PRICE
Size: 30” Style: Standard Kit
If you're looking for a 1/4 size guitar - this is a great deal (at the sale price) Cheap, sturdy, plays well, PROS: -Seems to be solidly built - at least twice as heavy as my other 1/4 size guitars -Looks good - though I'm pretty sure the 'inlay' is just decals - doesn't look like it's apt to peel off. -Has a truss rod neck. Lot of cheaper brands don't - Sounds good - though I'm a bit tone deaf, I've been playing for about 40 years - sounds fine to me. Body is a little thin (2 5/8 inch) but it puts out some volume, especially if you use a bit heavier hand - I'm using it with a portable mini amp I've had laying around, and works pretty good for its size (about $30-$40 - "Guitar Amp/Amplifier, for Electric and Acoustic Guitars 5W Portable with Recording, Playback Functions Rechargeable Easy to Carry. ") -Pick up seems to work well, and the onboard tuner is a lot better than getting out the phone, opening the app, and finding a place to set the phone down to tune. Runs off a 9V battery (included) Polarity isn't clearly marked - if it doesn't work, flip the battery. Comes with a clip on USB rechargeable tuner - that's kinda pointless with the built-in tuner - and all the free phone apps available - but it's in there CONS - - It probably isn't going to be on sale for $60 for long - I wouldn't feel cheated at $100 - The gig bag isn't padded - but seems to be made of sturdy material with decent stitching - The only real issue I have is the tuner/equalizer unit is installed VERY crooked, and the jack/battery unit is fairly straight - but off-center. They do work okay though, so I'm okay with it for the (sale) price - still kinda shoddy work though - hopefully it's not common and I, once again - just got the short straw in life ; ) ------------ Can't say anything about longevity. My main concern is how the synthetic fretboard holds up. Seems solid and dense enough, and looks like a rosewood. - I've destroyed fret boards on cheap guitars (deep gouges from finger pressure on wires) but they used too soft wood, not a composite material... All things considered. I think anyone could easily get $100 worth of music out of it. Makes a nice little travel guitar at a price where you don't have to worry too much if it gets damaged by luggage handlers, or at a drunken campfire. ... show more

  • Great beginner set for my 6 yo.
Size: 34" Style: Standard Kit
I decided to work on teaching my daughter (5, almost 6) guitar. This is a great set for her to try things out and see if she enjoys it without spending too much to find out if she will stick with it. So far, she really enjoys it. Great starter set.

  • Great value kit!
Size: 30” Style: Standard Kit
Unbelievable quality and sound from such a small 1/4 sized guitar. This is an introductory instrument for a small child and I can’t wait to see the results. Great value kit from Pyle!

  • Great set for the price!
Size: 30” Style: Standard Kit
Great set. I'm an adult but wanted a smaller scale guitar so I could easily pick up a guitar and noodle at my desk in between tasks, after not having played in a few years. In that sense it works great! Considering the price I think it sounds good and is well built, but you can't be looking for Martin quality at this price point. Large enough to play open tunings comfortably. The USB powered clip on tuner is especially handy. Only thing I think is missing from this set is a capo, but that's a very affordable fix. Would recommend! ... show more

  • Decent little guitar for the $
Size: 30” Style: Standard Kit
Decent little guitar for the money. The action needed to be lowered to keep the intonation from being way off, but after a good setup and some work on the saddle, it sounds pretty decent. I intend to use it as a backpacking and travel guitar.
