    • Automatic up/down works very well
This is a high quality screen and the automatic up/down feature works well. The only issue I had was that the screen was stuck inside the casing and wouldn't roll down at first. I had to loosen a couple of screws and pry the ends of screen out of the casing. After I did that it worked fine.

The media could not be loaded. Definitely a must buy. Like everyone else I received my own with a dent fortunately it was one small small dent and can't be seen by the way I mounted it.

    • This is an excellent screen for the money. Will do about 75" 16:9, needs 23A battery
The media could not be loaded. Nice and quiet, flat screen. Takes about 30 seconds to drop all the way down. It includes instructions to adjust the top and bottom stops, but mine works perfectly without adjustment (even after shipping to Alaska!). I am able to do about a 75" diagonal picture in 16:9 format (shown). The box it came in was quite robust and undamaged, so I wouldn't worry about it being affected by shipping. I dropped it for two reasons - 1) The remote does require a 23A battery, and those aren't that common in the US. You can find them at the hardware store or big box store, but you're probably not going to have one in the battery drawer. I went ahead and ordered a set from Amazon, as you'll probably save money doing that, and guarantee you have one. 2) The cord is too short. It doesn't even reach a standard height outlet from a standard 8' ceiling. I had to string an extra power cord. This is inexcusable. Make it at least reach the outlet. For the price (even adding in a short 3 prong power cord) it's a good buy. Recommended. ... show more

UPDATE on 12/06/2021: I reached out again to PYLE Customer Service about buying a replacement remote and here's their response: "Hi XXXXXX, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. I already sent a follow-up request for your concerns. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Arvin O. Tamayosa Technical Advisor Sound Around USA" So, this is their STANDARD response to all customer service inquiries... keep the customer on perpetual hold! You never know when you'll get a faulty product, but here's a heads up that if you get a faulty PYLE product, you are on your own. They will not help you! ========================================== I ordered this Pyle Projector Screen for my granddaughter. It arrived badly dented, but the shipping carton was fine, so I'm thinking it was PACKED that way! I returned it and the replacement was slightly dented, but I kept it. Unfortunately, the REMOTE doesn't work!!! Amazon offered a discount on it, for both arriving damaged and the remote not working. I then contacted Pyle directly to see if I can purchase a replacement. Well, I contacted them on Oct 1st. They stated they would look into it. Two weeks later, I followed up, and here's their reply: Thank you for contacting us again. We have created another follow-up on your request. We still have not received feedback from the warehouse regarding the remote control that you requested. Please bear with us until we complete this request. Seriously!? So much for customer service. The product itself is very good. The wall-mounted Up/Down/Stop switch works well, and the projector goes up and down very smoothly. In spite of my bad experience, I would recommend this product.     • It's one of the best investments I've made for our home entertainment
It seems like simple thing, but after I installed this on our living room, we can watch movies and other videos without having to do a lot of preparations. I've had a projector for some time and when we wanted to use it I had to take ornaments from the wall of our living room besides setting up the projector on a table and such. Now, I just press a button no the remote and the screen comes down nicely and in a very elegant manner. Also, I purchased a tripod for the projector and in less than 5 minutes everything is ready for the entertainment. The image on this screen is great and shows no wrinkles. It has an auto stop for extending and retracting to protect the motor. Just one push of the button (down or up) and just let it finish the travel of the screen until it stops automatically. The media could not be loaded. What a great find! I was just looking for some manual pulldown projector screen for a projector we already have. Then I came across this motorized one for almost the same price and it works great! It is for my autistic sons room so all controls have to be put up high and out of reach. Did need to be adjusted which is normal after shipment. Only issue we have is I'll want to hang out in my kids room all the time now lol. ... show more
