I have only been wearing these shoes for avoit a day; I can't speak to their durability or longevity. I can without hesitation advise that these are the most comfortable out of the box shoe that I have ever worn, full stop, center mass, etc. I have feet that have been trashed by years in the light infantry (old school) and a lifetime of running and sports. The first thing I generally do with a new pair of shoes from ANYONE, is replace the insole. These are PERFECT out of the box. I own other NB shoes, mainly walkers, but these are a whole other level of comfort. The wide size is a perfect width, and the toe box is HUGE...important when you suffer from Royal Toe on both feet. These shoes are a GO.

Wow, guys! I recently picked up these New Balance 608 V5 Cross Trainers, and I'm seriously impressed. They're not too flashy, just the right amount of cool, and they go with pretty much anything I wear. But the real win? The comfort! The ABZORB cushioning is like walking on clouds. I've been hitting the gym hard and my feet feel great, even after a long workout. Plus, my ankles are loving the extra support from the foam collar. These shoes are tough too - been wearing them daily for months and they still look and feel like new. The sizes are spot on, but double-check the size chart to be sure. In a nutshell, these New Balance trainers are comfy, sturdy, and stylish. If you're in the market for a new pair, give these a go - they're awesome!

I was worried when the label on the box and the tag on the shoe said “wide” instead of “extra wide” but I looked under the tongue and it said “4E” which is the correct size. I’m so happy because I haven’t been able to find 11.5 (Amazon and other stores are always out of stock) so I’ve had to settle for 12w which is comfortable but I’m always tripping because they’re too long. I know exactly what to expect from this shoe because this is the only sneaker I have worn for over a decade.

I’ve been wearing men’s New Balance shoes, for the width, in a size 8. I get a new pair every 2 years or so, and they ALWAYS FIT PERFECTLY. They are affordable which I’m grateful for. I have no idea how many years I’ve worn these. Even a leather look pair of black shoes also fit perfectly last fall. I was thrilled that they were delivered in 2 DAYS. I WASN’T happy about it notifying me that they had been delivered to my mailbox. The cardboard box would never fit. The recorded chat voice said it “was a typo and if they weren’t delivered by 10:00pm Monday, to call again.” I saw a package across the street at the wrong address. I checked and it was mine. Our apartment numbers are huge and in dark color on very light painted buildings. I’ll continue to buy through Amazon and hope this doesn’t happen again. Thank you!!

Been wearing these for years. I recently tried a differnet model, top quality but wasn't as comfortable. I'm a big guy (14ee sheoe) and walk between 8 and 12 miles a day at work and this model always kept my feet from hurting. The other model, a "walking shoe" did not.

I bought these 608 models to replace my aging NB 813 shoes that I wore for more years than I can remember. I’ve been wearing NB exclusively for many years now because they fit well and hold up better than other brands, while also offering better lateral support. I wear Good Feet orthotics, and it took a little effort to insert them in the new shoes. New shoes tend to be tight until they settle in a bit. Unfortunately, on the second day the orthotics started to squeak. I previously owned 3 pair of NB 813s and one out of the 3 squeaked while the other 2 remained silent. I didn’t want to live with the squeak again, so I searched for a remedy. First I tried sone talcum powder under the orthotics, which worked ok for maybe 10 minutes. Then I tried putting the orthotics on top of the insoles instead of underneath them, which worked perfectly until I went to take the shoes off and my socks caught on the front edge of the orthotics and locked my feet in the shoes. Then I had a true inspiration; I took the insoles out of my old 813s and put them in the new shoes, slipped the orthotics into the shoes and laid the new insoles on top of the orthotics. Voilà! The squeak is gone! I expect to be comfortably wearing these new NBs for several years to come.
