  • Great!
This is a huge bag of perlite! Don’t waste your money on small bags if you’re doing a lot of gardening, this big sack is the way to go to when buying perlite. I ordered a few of these and they’re all in perfectly clean and dry condition. Note that no matter where you get your perlite you will always find dust from broken down pieces. I will definitely order this again because it is Great quality for a fantastic price. ... show more

  • Great value
This is a fantastic value and great product. Unless you’re only filling a very few pots this is the place to buy perlite. I will definitely buy more from them.

  • a better garden
i have not used yet. but i can say i was impressed with the size, i didn't have a thought of how big but it's fine. i am starting to put more care in my planting, using better soil, and added things to make soil better. soi will have more than enough to enjoy planting for a long time.

  • not coarse but acceptable
I would absolutely not call this 'coarse' in any way, it is pretty much your standard perlite, if you want/need an actual coarse perlite the mother earth brand is great, but for general use this is alright. For some applications a less coarse perlite is better anyway so its nice to have both. For my tomatoes I will be mixing in both. The bag is huge, and should last me many years. I am knocking off a star for them trying to call this coarse when it is not. Maybe I should knock off two. Well, whatever, I pretty much got what I expected. I haven't gotten to the bottom of the bag whatsoever but it doesn't seem overly powdery from what I can tell. ... show more

  • What's not to like!?
The water retention and aeration properties of this perlite are unmatched. Both my indoor and outdoor plants enjoy a steady supply of moisture and air without the risk of drowning out the roots. Remember to wear a mask when pouring this stuff out. It also helps to wash it before placing into your posts and mixing with your other medium. Its dusty. ... show more
