It feels good on my feet when I shower and is slip resistant. The color is true to the pictures. No weird smell. The size I selected was great for my bathtub and offers enough space to move in the shower - coverage may vary depending on your shower size. Very resistant to water. The only con I have is that it will catch any loose hair, so your new bathroom chore will be removing loose hair from the mat.

This is a really good idea as a product. It does provide a non-slip surface in an otherwise slippery shower. It also collects dirt and organic matter and needs to be washed once in a while. We wash ours in the washer/dryer once a month. I know that is hard on rubber, but it needs to be done. They can get quite dirty, and they are porous and just hold "stuff." After washing these maybe a nine times in cold water gentle and drying carefully, the backing came part way off. As you can see, after 14 months, the backing is still hanging on, but I'm not sure for how long.
