I got this to create a year-round enclosure for a friend’s small, old dog with limited escape abilities, in northern Michigan. It needs to handle extremes of all four seasons. As such it seems to fit the bill well. It arrived in a plastic bag, in a box, in a box. I could gripe about overpackaging, but it arrived in flawless condition so I won’t bother. The PVC coating is complete and undamaged. On the one hand it doesn’t give me an opportunity to evaluate how galvanized or well-welded the steel is, on the other it protects however much galvanizing it has, for a net win. Given the information available to me, it appears to be well-built and durable. Time will tell how UV resistant the PVC coating is. Given that the manufacturer claims to have been in business for 50 years, presumably they know and use best practices. Comparing to other offerings on Amazon, cheaper prices on similar products are available; I cannot speak to the quality of those. Considering the flawless condition of this product, I question whether saving $7 by choosing a competitor’s product would be worthwhile. Considering this is used in the front yard, I doubt that saving a few dollars by buying uncoated fencing from a local store would make sense. With no exposed metal or sharp points, this was a pleasure to work with. Creating the enclosure took about ten minutes, most of which was staking it to the ground at various points, and attaching the gate. Overall, very pleased.

This is a very handy and versatile roll of wire. The coating makes it even more so as there are NO sharp or rough edges except where you make cuts. It seems welded together very well so not apt to separate or come loose even if being pawed or scratched at. It's smooth so would tend to help protect your dogs or pets against injury. It is pretty thick for a mesh wire, but also easy enough to unroll and work with. It will also work to make good cages if you use a smaller wire for the bottom. I am using it to enclose a hugul bed for gardening. It is tough and strong enough to hold the dirt and materials in. I do find it's best to dig a narrow trench and bury a few inches as that solidifies it very hard and tight with a few stakes. It is also attractive for a wire mesh and will look good no matter where you put it while performing whatever function you need.

This black wire fence is stronger than I expected for its size. The coating looks nice and helps it blend into the yard without standing out too much. It was easy to set up and shape around the area I needed, and it holds in place once secured. Works well for keeping small pets out of the garden while still looking clean and simple. A good balance of durability and appearance for a small fence.

This is quality wire that I will be using for protecting my garden plants from my dogs. It has a good look with the PVC coating and should be able to reuse for years to come. May also use it to keep my dogs out of my pasture. It even looks nice enough that I may put around some flower beds. Price is good for this type of wire.

The media could not be loaded. This black welded wire fence was just what I needed to keep the dog out of the flowerbeds and garden. It would also keep our other small animals like rabbits. The black coating gives it a clean look and I was surprised how it just blended in nicely. You can hardly see that there is a fence up. I didn't think about it when I ordered it but you do need to buy stakes when you are setting it up. It is a sturdy fence and was easy to install. I love that this fence solved my problem by keeping the dog out and that it isn't really noticable.
