Just like the title says, this is absolutely perfect for a quick little at home cardio. This isn't necessarily what I would consider and super sturdy, but it still gets the job down for those days you can not make it out to the gym!

Good portable gym for staying in shape.
I broke down each component to review them individually. I really like this fitness board, it’s versatile, and holy moly are these exercises tough. I workout 5 days a week, but the variation of these exercises awakened muscles I didn’t know I had. The three different variations focus on the pecs, sho
ulders, and back muscles. Even though you don’t need it for planks. Using it in conjunction with the included instructions is a bonus. When I’m doing exercises using the resistance band and fitness board. I’ll say it fits between okay and good. I’m 5’8”, so for me I feel like the bands should be shorter. I connected the exercise bar, resistance band, and board. When I lift it over my head. There’s barely any resistance. Connecting all four-resistance bands is better though. Luckily, I have shorter bands which I can connect to the board. The speed rope is okay, but I feel it’s a bit long for me. I have an identical rope like this and had to measure and cut it for my size. In fact, some speed ropes need to be measured and cut. So that’s not a negative. The training band I’ll keep around all time and get great use out of It. I used it for stretching and warmup before my workout. I also use it at home while watching TV or on my computer. The hip bands are ok, and it serves its purpose, but if I’m being honest. I prefer fabric bands. These tend to roll up and slip when doing hip exercises. So, with all that said, I do think this portable gym and it's good for beginners. It will help to stay in shape, stimulate muscle, and get toned. My favorites are the fitness board exercises. Hopefully, my review helps anyone thinking of purchasing this portable gym. I think it’s good starter equipment for beginners.

Small package, good exercise options
Out of the box I really like the approach of this 'kit'. All of it fits in a relatively small bag that will slide under your couch or bed. It sets up easily and quickly. Really liked all the different options for hand placement for pushups. I like the stand-on board approach, using your bodyweight to
secure the platform. If you have room to stretch out on your floor somewhere, this kit will work. I liked the cables and handles. A booklet comes with it on ideas of how to exercise different parts of your body. I even carried along the cables with me on vacation, added a few clasps to secure the cables around something, see this in the pictures. They really came in handy to get in some resistance workout while on vacation, just hook them around something and you can get a full body workout. What I thought was a little lacking in this kit is the flexibility of using the two sets of cables (one set black and one set red). If you are over or under a certain height, you will need to get creative to get these cables to hit tension at the correct time in a given workout scenario. The kit would be better with these cables in different lengths and more of them, so users of different heights can get the same effect. Mostly you can get around this by standing on something on the platform. Out of the box, I think this kit is workable and gives you options. Maybe buy a few bungie cords and that way you can change the cable setup to fit your height.

Or if you're shorter, you'll have to get a step stool to take advantage of some of the exercises, like using the long bands to do curl ups. The base board is neat, and has plenty of hole positions for the hand bars to do push-up exercises in various positions. The jump rope is merely okay. The ends o
f the board where the long bands attach do bend a little when used when extending the bands with the bar to higher positions. That is a little concerning on the longevity of the side of the board. I think my fav exercise on this is the hand bars and doing basic pushups, but in slightly different positions.

Beginner resistance ... maybe
This set is a good concept, but as someone who got this with the idea I could atleast tone a little, I find the resistance on all but the red bands are too weak to accomplish my goal. I found that only the red bands had a proper resistance for this, and even they are not too great. This is definitely
better suited for beginners....maybe.... The convenience of being able to bag this up and easily set it up anywhere was where I found this most appealing, but being that it's most useful property is the push up aspect, and the bands are practically useless to me, I'm not sure it is worth the price. It also needs to be on a completely flat and hard surface or it bends and lifts slightly while using. Carpet is not a good surface. I expected this though, so it is not a big deal at all. It came exactly as pictured with everything pictured, as well as a small book to complete different levels of exercise. Again though, the resistance bands are so easy, that I feel like you could do the same exercises without them and get the same amount of a workout. This is something I will need to find better bands for. I really love the concept, it just fails for so much of it being items that I can not use. When my 7 yr old can use all the bands as easily as I can, that says everything about their strengthening abilities. Sadly, When half a product is useless, then it cannot recieve a 5 star rating.

Base is too thin, bends almost to the point of breaking when intense pressure is applied.
Got this to use in my fitness classes that I teach at my karate school, however in good faith I do not think I will be using it since I feel it may cause injury to the students. The base is fairly thin plastic, should have been heavier or even metal reinforced, when you attach the resistance bands (t
he main reason I got this) to the hooks on the end of each side and attach either the handles or the lift bar it starts to bend the base up at the corners. I also felt the resistance bands were much too easy, both the black and red really offered little to no resistance, even on the overhead lifts, so I attached both red and black at the same time, the resistance was then good, however the base started to bend up dangerously at the corners and would have snapped had I lifted the bar up over my head, so I stopped. If you're looking for a real easy workout, maybe you're doing physical therapy or something requiring little resistance, then this would probably be really good for you (thus the three stars still), but if you're looking for a challenging workout then I would avoid this, the resistance bands don't offer any resistance and the base is weak, and honestly different styles of pushups can be done on the ground for free.

This exercise set is definitely great for beginners like myself. It comes with everything you need to get a good workout. It comes with a bag to store everything and it doesn’t take up to much space as it isn’t bulky. It’s easy to use and the quality is decent. I definitely will be recommending this
to anyone wanting to get a workout in from home.

This is a decent, gym equipment set, if you’re a beginner and don’t have the time to go to the gym. As for the quality of the items, it probably won’t last long.

Not bad for someone new to exercise
My pros for the items is everything can fit into a carrying bag which overall pretty lightweight. The board folds in half to store. The resistant bands are not very tight so it wouldn’t be a good fit for someone needing stronger resistance. There is a little booklet that comes with it to give you som
e exercise moves but might have been nice to print on the board itself.

It comes with all you need to get started. It allows for privacy as it stores quite well in the included bag and it even includes a sheet of workouts you can do with the equipment. If you know a little more about how to exercise specific muscles, you can definitely use this set to adapt your own exer
cises not included in the booklet.
