  • Not worth it at any price higher than 15 dollars
Color: Dark Gray
Now I see why these were 50% off, these are a rip off at 50 dollars, let alone full price at 100 dollars. Like what the heck, they are worse than my onn walmart true wireless earbuds in every way besides battery and sound quality. Keep in mind my onn earbuds were 30 dollars brand new, no sale or nothing. These earbuds at over triple the price brand new dont even compare, besides slightly more battery life there is no reason to pick these up, they miss so many basic features that even some 30 dollar Walmart earbuds have, like how they are inconsistent with turning on and especially turning off when putting them in the case, or the fact that they dont even have 5.0 bluetooth. Literally every true wireless earbud on amazon from china has 5.0 bluetooth, whether its 20 dollars or 100, how could these not have such a basic feature? They are also HUGE for no real reason, the case is massive and if you wear anything besides baggy pants, u will have a massive bulge in your pocket that's like 3 inches by 2 inches and it's super tall. You cant pocket them comfortably. The earbuds themselves are also huge and idk why, they did not have to be so big. They are not worth it even at this discounted 50% off price. I could go on as to why, but I feel like the fact that 30 dollar true wireless buds are better in every way besides battery and audio (they are about the same in audio quality and it has like 2 more hours of battery) is enough said, even the build quality is similar and that's pathetic on skullcandy's end. • The first of Skullcandy's Wireless Earbuds- Don't expect perfect the first time
Color: Psychotropical Teal
These earbuds are good for regular commuting. I'm unsure about gym use, etc, but for my bus ride, they are acceptable. The bass and mid-line are PERFECT, and the highs are okay as well, but you can't turn them up to a good volume without getting a static laid on top of the audio. It is most noticeable in vocals and loud melodies. Wait for the next ones if you expect perfect. ALSO: If only one will connect to your phone, hold both buttons down for 30 seconds. The representative I was on the phone with told me to only hold down the right one, which was not connecting for 30 seconds, which did not solve the problem, so I messed with them and pushed them both down for 30 seconds and they synced up to each other. That is another issue with buying the first of a line; there is not very much troubleshooting from the perspective of the company- don't blame them, they are learning just as much about their product as you are. I would give them a solid mediocre, due to the sound quality. If the static was not present, they would be golden. The fit fins do nothing, either, but they stay in my ears without them, so I'm satisfied. I wish there were more size options for the fit fins, but they are installed onto the devices without any chance of size replacement. ... show more

  • This is a long one
Color: Dark Gray
So, I've had these headphones for a couple years now, I think, and I feel that's a long enough time to give an in-depth review of them. Pros: The packaging is nice, the sound on these things gets pretty loud, they're kind of small and discreet, and the fact that there's only one button makes things less complicated. That's about it. Now, starting off with my first gripe: #1 THE RIGHT/02 EARBUD CANNOT BE USED WITHOUT THE LEFT/01 EARBUD. When I first found that out, I thought nothing of it and didn't see it as a big deal. How wrong I was. The earbuds charge independently of each other within the same case, so in the event that one headphone isn't fully locked into the charging pegs in the case (which happens a lot), you lose the left bud, or you just want to listen to music with the bud that lets you skip forward a song/turn the volume up (because yes, you can only do that with the right earbud) you're out of luck. The left bud is the one that connects to the Bluetooth signal, so without it, your other bud is rendered useless. Gripe #2: THE EARBUDS CAN SOMETIMES RANDOMLY LOSE SIGNAL. I walk around while wearing my headphones, and I rely on them mostly when I'm walking from work. For some odd reason, when you walk past certain areas (I've experienced it around a cell tower most often) one or both of the buds may flicker out. Your music will still be playing on your device, but you won't be able to hear it through a earbud. It's annoying to deal with, and I can't tell you how stupid I feel moving my phone around the bud hoping the music starts playing normally again. 99% of the time, I experience this with the right bud. Gripe #3: THE EARBUDS WILL TURN ON INSIDE THE CASE IF IT'S MOVED AROUND TOO MUCH, THE CASE AND EARBUDS FULLY CHARGE, OR JUST RANDOMLY. Be watchful of your devices while your earbuds are charging. To this day, I still put my headphones on the charger and decide to use my phone only to not be able to hear anything. Why? That's because the buds have somehow turned themselves on and connected to my device. Or, I'll have my phone and earbuds in my bad while I work only to pull out my phone and see that I've gone through countless songs in my playlist since, spoiler alert, the headphones can apparently not only connect but automatically start playing the music on the device. This could possibly be fixed if there's a feature that stops music from being played the moment a Bluetooth device is connected, but I haven't even tried to look for the feature to be honest. Gripe #4: THE BATTERY LIFE WILL GO DOWN THE LONGER YOU CONTINUE TO USE THE EARBUDS, INCLUDING THE CASE. It's been so long that I can't even remember how long the advertised battery is supposed to be, but I do know that the battery life of both the headphones and case last nowhere near as long as they once did. As of today, the case could probably only fully charge my buds one time, and that's a stretch. Since the case automatically starts charging the buds when they're inside, they'll charge even when you haven't used a lot of the battery. That's all well and fine, but I notice that even when my headphones aren't even close to dead, the case will use up all it's charge by the end of the day. It leads to me charging the case every night. Gripe #5: THE EARBUDS DON'T ALWAYS STAY IN YOUR EAR. The little part of the headphone that curves up is supposed to help them stay in your ear, but it doesn't do its job well, at least not for my ear. I constantly find myself twisting the bud or pushing up the rubber-like hoop back into the curve of my ear. They can stay steady for a little while, but if you're the type to dance with the buds or do some daily chores, get ready. Gripe #6: WITHOUT THE CASE, YOU CAN'T CHARGE THE EARBUDS. Keep a close eye on the case and keep it up because without it, your earbuds will be rendered useless until you buy another case. There's no connection on either bud that lets you charge them, just the singular buttons for controls and the prongs to charge them within the case. Gripe #7: I'VE RECEIVED FAULTY OR COMPLETELY MISSING PRODUCTS WHEN PURCHACING tWiCe. Back when I first bought it years ago, I believe there was an issue with the case not charging or closing properly causing me to send them back to get them replaced. The second time I ordered them for someone else more recently, the package came with no headphones in the box at all. The packaging was there, but it was like someone had taken out the actual buds before sending. Be wary, and don't hesitate to contact Amazon about a replacement or refund. If you've read all that and still want to get them... I don't blame you. They work well enough, they're loud, and they're wireless. Go off. ... show more
