I raise my webcam right into the middle of the Zoom gallery so when I look at Zoom, it looks like I'm looking right into the camera instead of off to the side. That makes a huge difference. Much more professional.

There isn't much to this stand except to say it is solid. And I think that is what people want in a stand like this. It gets a little tippy with the gooseneck fully extended but with my Logitech C920, it doesn't tip without an external force.

This stand is excellent and meets my needs almost perfectly. The one exception is that I have it situated BEHIND my monitor (not a laptop) and it could use a bit more height. I had to raise it up about 6 or 8 extra inches so the camera would go just over the top of my screen. This is the best location for when I have my Zoom up and want the other person to feel like I'm looking at them instead of off at a camera. But the goose neck works perfectly for dropping down a bit into the monitor space to get this effect.

Good function but the base is a little light when I extend my C920 to extreme hight and side. I use this when I position my camera in front of my monitor for zoom. I just added some weight on the base and it works.

This is a great base at a great price, but my web cam (Logitech C910) does not have a threaded base. Rather than buy a new cam, I adapted it to work with this base. Simple, but certainly a warranty killer for the camera (mine was out-of-warranty). The camera has 3 hinged sections but 2 are just the clamps for holding it to a monitor. I drilled an 11/64" hole through the middle section - which was the exact size to allow the threaded part of the new base to slip through the camera clamp, but not too big such that the camera would not drop below the flange at the bottom of the threads. Check the size with a drill bit hole card before you drill anything!!! This hole allowed me to put the camera on the threaded ball at the top of the base goose neck, and then simply screw the threaded plastic disc on top of the camera to hold it. Works like a champ. A few cable ties around the goose neck and it even looks great.

Using it for a Logitech C920. I needed a 13" stand so I only used the straight post and did not use the bendable section. The C920 screws right onto the ball head. I had no issues with the 1/4" screw. The ball head is cheap, but it gets the job done. The C920 is very light so the ball head doesn't have to do much. The base is steady enough. Started with Joby flexible tripod, I knocked it over a lot. Compared to the Joby, this is much more stable and because it has a thinner profile I am hitting/knocking it over less.
