I bought the same model about four years ago, this is the replacement. However, if the new is like the old one was I am certain it will be very durable. The last one went about four years during which it lived outside full time. The primary users were a handful of children who treated it like a swingset, it did not have an easy life. A squirrel chewed some of the fabric near the rope but it was still fine for another year. It started to finally tear near the chewed up part so I replaced it before it failed entirely. ... show more

I LOVE this hammock!! Super lightweight and compact for easy packing. All the while, super durable and easy to set up. Having never set up a hammock in my life, this guy took me q0 minutes, only that long because I had to figure out its size in comparison to the distance between the trees on our campsite. You can curl it around you and it blocks the wind, the bag it stores in actually becomes a little pocket handing on the side for your phone, water bottle, mini sudoku book, e.t.c. back home,, I set it up in my apartment patio,, after a long day at work,, will go lay in it to relieve the pressure off my bad back and hips,, works wonders for sciatic pain after a 10hr day on your feet..i have fallen asleep in this thing more times than I can count lol also the "tree-friendly" straps make it super easy to take up and down and readjust to the sise you need. Holds me, my son and my daughter, a combined 260lbs plus their wiggling around. It got pretty low to the ground lol but we held. Bought to use camping and also in the backyard. Didn’t want to spend a lot. Bought the single and was impressed. It is a very nice hammock and the straps are easy to use. The number of loops on the straps allow you to get the perfect height quite easily. I am 5’6” and the hammock length was perfect for me, very comfortable. We bought this hammock as a replacement and we are pleasantly surprised by it. I was concerned because the connections are several cords instead of a solid strap like our other hammocks, but it has been holding up even better than the straps. Comfortable to lay in and swing under our fir trees.

This small package arrived and I was taken aback by the small size. Little did I know! It unfolded smoothly and set up in moments. All the hardware was included but I was in the hammock in a matter of moments. The most difficult task was choosing my site. Granted, it was my yard but the possibilities are endless. It is supportive, holds two and an over active pup (not recommended) with room to spare. Feels comfortable not worrisome, moves smoothly, and, kind of important for me, it folded right back up. I am very happy with this hammock. I purchased both the small and large versions. I am tall and skinny (6’ 160lb) and I can lay comfortably in the small version. The large version would probably be better for someone with a heftier build than me but they are both comfy and durable. The build quality is excellent and the material is decent. I have a different (more expensive) hammock with slightly softer/smoother material and it is larger than this large hammock. If you are looking for premium you will probably need to pay a little more but if you want a great value with very little compromise I would recommend this hammock. It also comes with some excellent straps that make it easy to set up in trees at various distances. ... show more
