for my 2022 ford edge, it does restrict air flow about 20% compared to the OEM ford cabin filter, which iis not h.e.p.a. ford does not offer a h.e.p.a. filter. however, if you think about it, the greater the filtration, the more air flow is reduced, be it in a car or home. I don't know if the activated carbon will last long nor the baking soda nor the antibacterial layers, but I do know this or it it a marketing gimmick. however, I do know it is a sturdy, thicker filter than the OEM Ford offers. h.e.p.a. of not, it is a thicker filter, and a thicker filter will filter better. I researched BOSCH, which is a very, very reputable company, but it is not compatible with a ford edge. since it is a thicker filter, I live in Los Angeles and will likely replace it when I need to change the oil, every 7,500 miles. I can afford it and since it is thicker, it will trap more dirt and need to be changed more often. ... show more

The Good: Well I am one of guys that was never working on cars with my dad but I wish he was there when I replaced my air filter. Now I'm confident I can do this again in half the time. I feel great. It took me 47 minutes. The Bad: The random guy on YouTube took 12 minutes. The Ugly : Th paper instructions that cam with the filter were nearly useless because they had no pictures. Put it in last night and already air smells cleaner in my car. Fairly easy to install. The glove box not so easy to disassemble lol. Will buy again.... update, now my heater makes a humming noise, rechecked to make sure it’s in correctly. Can’t stand this extra noise. Will be replacing soon
