It’s not a bad couch cover, but my biggest two problems are it’s “water resistance” and the sizing. It does have some level of water wicking properties, but it will soak through. I bought two of these to protect my couches because my cat was peeing on my new couch cushions. Some of the pee and the scent definitely still soaked through to the other size and absorbed in the fabric, but it DID sort of protect it. The other thing is the size. I bought the biggest sizes and it’s still not big enough. It would probably stay in place better if there was extra fabric to work with but it does not fit my couch well, so I constantly have to re-tuck everything. Very annoying. It’s very easily washable though and looks decent enough. Definitely protects from every day wear and tear on your couches and I continue to use them! Bigger sizes and more water-resistance and these would be a gold mine. Also wish they came in a darker grey than the silver-ish color, but hey. I’ll take it. :) ... show more

As per my husband, he’s impressed that I found a way to make our couches look new. Our couches are, that are about 6 years old started peeling (the leather parts) as per the name brand chain (r & f) this is normal from wear and tear. It’s frustrating because we resorted to using tape to cover parts of the leather peels. The covers which I accidentally came across upon on Amazon, seem to do the trick just nicely. I bought one for the loveseat as well. The covers are durable. All I have to do is just adjust and tuck them in after sitting. I like them very much and they do a pretty good job of covering up the couches flaws. ... show more

I have a penchant for covering all my furniture with plastic. My husband calls me "Marie Barron". We compromised with seat covers which has added longevity to our suede-like recliners and loveseat. After we put in dark wood floors, we wanted covers to replace the old brown ones and looked for a color to match or complement our color scheme. We purchased a blue set from another company, but we returned it because the color wasn't right. We went with this one which is more of a jewel-tone. The Pure-fit covers compliment our deep brown floors and denim rag rug. They are holding up rather well in spite of little doggie feet jumping on and off of them many times a day.---they still look as new as when we first bought them. They are lightweight, easy to put in the washing machine, and the color has remained true after several washings. I have spilled coffee on them a few times and it seems to bead up, giving one time to run for a towel. The straps that go around the chair are covered with fabric which makes the set look classier than if it had only a thick strap of black elastic. When searching for cover,s be warned that the colors on the sites often look much darker than they will be in person. This one, on the other hand, matched pretty closely. ... show more

Unfortunately its too late to return my Love seat covers since they are getting increasingly frustrating to deal with. Here's what I've noted mainly over the past 6 weeks. Pros: • Lightweight enough to wash in a regular washer/dryer. Handy for pet owners • Fabric is thick enough to give you an additional 60 seconds or so to grab a cloth if you spill liquids on it. Also holds up well against doggie paws, wet or otherwise. • Soft material that doesnt snag when my pets paw at it • Looks nice when you AREN'T using it or sitting on it Cons: • Doesn't stay in place on leather, slips and slides off easily • Elastic straps dont come down far enough on the back flap to keep it from "popping" off and sliding down • Foam fabric rollers/stays dont stay put • Looks nice when you AREN'T using it or sitting on it ... show more

These may be easy to clean if you do not have kids or dogs. Pet hair is nearly impossible to get off of these covers. It also states to spot clean even though the details said machine washable 🤔. The foam anchors are a real joke! They constantly fall out with minimal movement (I even tried burying them deep in the couch). The top flap is the best (and possibly only good) part. There are two stretchy straps and secure the top flap (and only the top flap) in place. It is the only part of the cover that stays put. It does bend and flex some, but it is fairly secure. The bottom flap NEEDS these straps also! Not sure why you would make this without more straps to secure. The arm flaps are the worst. I've tried several different ways to try to get them to look nice but it always looks trashy. Just sitting or standing from the couch just pulls everything (foam anchors included) out of place. Spot cleaning isn't great on the dark brown. I still see every dirty spot. Dog owners beware! I thought this would make it easier to vacuum (keep fur and dirt from between the cushions) NOT the case. Also dog fur does not come off of these covers. Smaller then I imagined (even with measuring). Couch and love seats are generally the same size, but these covers are too small for my couch (and I measured based on the description and they should fit better). Maybe it is personal opinion on how these should fit (I think it should cover the entire back and seat -and be able to fold under front of seat cushions- but these don't even go all the way across the back of the couch). Not a fan. Waste of money. If you plan to put these on and never use or touch the couch.... then these are for you. If you plan to sit on your couch... these are not the covers for you.
