Bought this cover for our new electric leather recliner so our dog would not scratch it, the fit would be fine if we could use the straps but they’re way too short for our chair therefore I have to continually adjust the cover as it slips all over

These arrived on time as promised and were easy to put on. Bought them because they are machine washable, reversible, and have pockets. The pockets are on the right hand side of the recliner regardless of which side is up (I bought great/light grey). The photo shows the light grey side. These don’t seem to collect cat hair and ran through the wash beautifully. When I spilled liquid on it, it did soak in a little but not through. We purchased new recliners and wanted to protect them from normal wear and tear as well as our cats. They fit (the recliners are on the smaller size) and work exactly as needed. ... show more

This product seemed to have all the features in the description; well stitched, both colors are as they appear in the picture and it was padded, yet light weight. However, although it's an overlay area for the seat was fine, it doesn't work with a large/extra large recliner. The elastic retention straps that go under the chair are too short and the side pockets ended up on the top of the armrests. ... show more

    • Won't stay in place!

Strapped the product onto the chair as directed, every time I sat down on it, it had to be re-positioned. The upper strap that secured the back padding is useless. Had to reinsert the back flap every single time as it slips down off the back down to the seat. Wife thought she had a better idea, made it worse. So every time I get up from the recliner I have to readjust two parts and the arms EVERY TIME. Might be good for pets, not for humans who shift around on seats all the time. After installing the cover it was ok for the first few days, however after that wear, the arm covers are stitched to the seat cover stated the rip the stitching from the seat cover, the back cover will not stay in place no matter what we tried. The cover fits our small leather recliner well, and doesn’t get displaced too easily, even with our two 30 lb. dogs jumping on and off of the chair. We haven’t had to test the waterproofing yet, but it has held up to dog nails without any puncturing or ripping, and it seems easy enough to take off of the chair to wash. Eventually we hope to get another to change out with this one for laundering purposes. So far so good! ... show more

I purchased two of these and expected them to be identical, but they are not. They fit the chair OK, but is missing all of the straps that hold it in place. Just means it slides out very easy. Does protect the seat from the dogs, which is the purpose. Except for the missing straps, it is durable and easy to clean. ... show more
