  • Nice tent with several great features
I purchased this tent for several specific qualities that I like in a tent. First, two big doors. The doors make it easy to put inflated air mattresses in, and they open fully with massive insect screens for a full view of the great outdoors like giant windows. Secondly, two "vestibules," supporting the fly to create overhang over the doors/windows. This lets light rain drip away from the sides so I can leave the windows open in a drizzle. Thirdly, the tent poles and vestibule poles are not forced to bend—there are angled pieces to create curvature without stressing the poles, which have often splintered in other tents I have owned. Fourth, the rainfly is large enough to cover the tent sufficiently in wet weather. Unbelievable how many tents have tiny flys! Fifth, the interior size is excellent for a "four person" tent, which implies room for two and maybe two small kids. Some tents with the same footprint are more crowded based on the slope of the walls. The tent is up now, in the yard, unused, but is dry this morning after a rain. I have tent-camped my entire life. I pitch a tent when visiting relatives in the summer and fall, even at age 66 and still camp in parks and wilderness. The fabric quality looks good, the zippers feel nice, the weight and pack-down size is small, all of which make this a five star rating. What could be improved: The tie-out cords are too short for the fly, which need to be pulled out vs. down for greater tension and side ventilation, plus there are no plastic adjusters on the cords. No electric cord inlet, useful for small electric fans in hot weather. Also, I wish the door/screen zippers functioned in a way the I could open the tops of the door fabric in wetter weather, leaving the lower half closed. (There are other tent design elements I would suggest which I have never seen on any tent before, but that's just me!) ... show more

  • Good
It is definitely rain proof and easy to set up. This tent was also good size for me and my best friend when we went camping.

  • HORRIBLE
Honestly bought this tent hoping to get the quality the last reviews had in the past only to find out it’s absolute crap. I’m a Wildland firefighter and this tent was for one, the flimsiest piece of crap I’ve ever slept in, couldn’t handle 10mph winds with out collapsing, the support beams bent right away, rain fly doesn’t even fit properly and there’s a gap on the sides where the mesh goes lower than the fly and it allows water in. Very first rain storm and all of my stuff was wet, I will never ever recommend this brand nor this tent itself. Very very unhappy with quality and performance. DO NOT BUY!!!! ... show more

  • Leaky & missing ground tarp.
I wanted to LOVE this tent. Nice design with a few major flaws. Pro. The doors are wonderful. The full zip off nylon over the screen doors makes for lovely air flow. Cons. 1. I did not realize that the "bathtub floor" was NYLON like the body of the tent. Even with a thick, properly placed poly ground tarp, (as the one that is supposed to be included *isn't*, more on that below) water wicked up through the floor. 2. The seam that connects the bathtub to the body is not a flat fell (interlocking) seam, so, it created a ledge which became another wicking point, even though the seams were taped inside. 3. The rain fly, as some others observed, is not quite long enough (on the short sides) to fully cover the screen roof inside. 4. The polls are anemic, at best, for the weight of the tent. We had one collapse of the tent when it was bumped by someone going by. As you can see in the Pic, we opted to put a pop up over it as it needed to be up for almost a week. Even with the rain fly, moisture wicked in. ABOUT THE GROUND TARP. Per the listing, it looks like a ground tarp included. ☆It is not included.☆ One has to send for it after the purchase which doesnt quite work when one recieves it a few days b4 the trip. For the price point, I expected a bit better of a product. Will be returning. :( NOTE ON RETURNING. It's a PITB. Not until after it is in transit does one discover that a one might not be given a complete re fun d. ... show more

  • "10" Oh Yeah!
This tent gets a "10"! Camped out 5 days and nights in Springville Al., close to Birmingham, June 15-20. I'm not sure how many inches of rain we got that week, but it poured, a lot! Other tents I've used in that kind of weather has not held up. This tent did not drip at all, none. Easy to setup, I like clipping in the poles, not trying to push them through nylon sleeves. Very well made, heavy dudy, I am impressed. Im going to try and wear this tent out. ... show more

June 18, 2026: We got the tent really fast. It was packed really well and we put it up very easily. Very good quality. And we're looking forward to using it on our next camping trip. Update July 20, 2026: We went camping in our new tent and really enjoyed it! So thankful for your company. We had a couple of thunderstorms and stayed dry! This tent replaced our old one that we had for 25 years!!!! Here's to another 25 with this one!!!!! ... show more

  • Purebox 4 person tent - good buy for light camping use
We got our Purebox 4 person tent, and since it was 1000 degrees outside, decided to set it up inside in the extremely limited space available. Just enough! The tent is lightweight, so not for arctic exploration, but fine for basic camping. I did not test the "waterproofness", but the fabric looks like the right stuff. The tent was easy to set up for two people, even without using the instructions, but I think with a little thought, one person could set it up. The tent poles are kind of lightweight, so use them with care. The bottom is one piece and goes about 4 inches up the sides. The rain fly is nice in that it has two poles that give it structure over the doors, and it covers the huge screened windows completely. There are two doors, with screens that open and close easily inside and out, and there are fixtures to hold them open built in, so good air circulation. I obviously did not stake it down, but there are stakes and additional tie down cords included with loops built in to the tent for the extra tie downs. Plenty of room inside and even pockets at both ends for small items. I'm 6' tall and could comfortably lie down in any direction, so it would comfortably sleep 4 normal humans with some space for stuff. I've seen "4-man tents" that were like pup tents, this is not like that. It was easy to pack it all in the supplied bag which has a carry strap. The picture is AFTER I repacked it. I think I could get it into a smaller space if I tried. If you are a good packer, you can do it. ... show more

  • Great tent!
Love this tent!! Was more sturdy and easier to put together than I was expecting. Fix me, my boyfriend, and our two pups comfortably and kept the rain out this weekend. The two doors is a huge plus as well so dont have to climb over each other when having to get out in the middle of the night.
