I own a fair number of budget inverters in the 500 to 1000W range and must say, upon opening the box, I was impressed by the LANDERPOW 1000W inverter. It is attractive (blue & black) nicely finished, well assembled and feels solid. The terminal bolts are supplied with flat washers and lock washers, which provide easy and solid cable connections. The terminals are also well spaced and protected by 100% coverage, color coded, slide on terminal covers. The supplied battery cables (more on these later) have a properly sized ring terminal at one end and better than average “alligator clips” on the other. The three 120V and the USB-A & C outlets seem to be quality components, which operate without flex or looseness. The toggle ON/OFF switch is thankfully located on the front and works well. In addition, unlike many inverters in this size and price range, it is also provided with a remote control/display screen. The supplied cable for this remote is very long and the screen provides both useful information and the ability to start and stop the inverter remotely. I initially connected the inverter to a small 12V battery, to verify function and to observe the display. I charged a cell phone using both of the USB ports. Thankfully, the ports are active even when the AC inverter is not powered on. This is nice feature as you're not wasting energy running the inverter when not needed. The remote works well and displays battery voltage, AC output voltage and output Watts. There is also a button to turn off the display if desired. Unfortunately, during testing the performance of the inverter was severely limited due to its supplied cables. After connecting it to a 300 Ah battery, it powered a space heater and two 75W security lights for over just over 10 minutes. During this test period the inverter drew over 86 amps, while producing just over 900W continuously. Measured output voltage held constant at 120V throughout the test. Unfortunately, due to the poorly sized cables and the alligator clip attachment method, excessive heating occurred. The battery cables became hot and I was actually burned by just touching the alligator clips at the battery connection. The inverter body itself became very hot and uncomfortable to touch near the terminal connections. The inverter operated at only 80% efficiency at the test load, but I’m sure this was due to the cable overheating issues. On the plus side, at idle the inverter drew just 0.49 amps, which at my test voltage was just over 6 W/Hr. After the high load run, I plugged in my 75" TV and allowed the inverter to carry the load for several hours. Continuous output was about 225W, and the fan was basically silent. During this time I monitored the inverter for any signs of stress, overheating, voltage issues etc. I also measured the inlet/outlet voltage throughout this period to verify the accuracy of the inverter display. No problems of any kind were detected. The inverter remained cool, held a consistent 120V output and the input/output voltage display was spot on. Overall, I feel this inverter is a solid product. However, it is severely limited by the battery cables supplied with the unit. I would hesitate to recommend this inverter to anyone unless they clearly understood that to achieve full performance, the battery cables will need to be significantly upgraded.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this 2000W inverter for about 12 weeks now in my RV setup and it’s been performing well overall. The pure sine wave output works great with my sensitive electronics - no humming or flickering like I had with my old modified sine wave unit. Powers my microwave, laptop, and LED lights without any issues. The remote control with LED display is really handy for monitoring battery levels and output from inside the RV without having to go outside to check the inverter. The 15-foot cable gives good flexibility for placement. However, this thing gets pretty hot under heavy loads. Running my 1500W microwave for more than a few minutes really heats it up despite the metal shell and cooling fans. Had to make sure it has plenty of ventilation space around it. The 2AWG battery cables are thick and well-made, much better than the thin cables that came with my previous inverter. Installation was straightforward with the included hardware. The multiple AC outlets and USB ports are convenient for powering different devices simultaneously. The safety protections seem to work - it shut down automatically when I accidentally overloaded it testing with too many appliances. For the price it’s a solid performer, just make sure you have adequate ventilation and don’t expect to run it at full capacity continuously for extended periods.

Size: 12V-2000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter
My initial review for the Landerpow Pure Sine Wave Inverter 2000 Watt. At day one, it seems to be working as it should. Output voltage varies from 120 volts down to 117 vac under load. Starts my 6000btu air conditioner with no problems - running power is about 590 watts. My cheap clamp-on ampmeter indicates a little over 90% efficiency. My last inverter worked great but only for 30 days - just ubder the return window, SO I will definitely update this review when I have seen longer term reliability. I increased the load to bout 1500watts and both fans came on for a few seconds at a time so they seem to be doing their jobs. Fans are actually pretty quiet. Never did come on under 600 watt load. So far - Happy Camper

The media could not be loaded. This is powerful. As you can see, 1875 watt hair dryer can run on low and medium. It takes alot of power to run these. With battery cables hook ups, it’s great for power on the go. It’s very quiet as well.
