They said it was heavy and it is. The pad was a little too big for our mattress so I used a pair of scissors to cut off about 1-1/2". The corners also had to be cut back since they are square cut. It was not the easiest to cut the pad but it got done. We put the pad down, then the liner, then sheets. At first I did not think I would like it because laying flat with no pillow hurt my mid and lower back. But when we slept on it, it turned out to be very comfortable. We are both side sleepers and on the heavy side. 240 & 210. It turned out it was what we were looking for. We gave away the 2" foam pad we had just bought. It squeezed down to nothing and gave very poor support. All said and done this pad is well worth the extra money and neither of us could defect any odor about a half hour after we opened it.

I still have lower back pain. However, since I started using the 2" topper, I find I wake up with less back pain in the morning than usual, so there is some improvement. I also find I wake up less in the middle of the night from pain. For reference, I am 6'4", 180 lbs. As far as other concerns, I ordered the topper along with the cover, which seems to hold the topper in place very nicely, despite my being an active sleeper. It also has the added side benefit of making my fitted sheet fit better. In a perfect world, it would be a little bit more dense/more firm, and a bit less 'givey'. That having been said, I feel like I've gotten my money's worth.

I didn't know how much this latex topper would really help...and I'm amazed! It has lessened my pain and discomfort being a side sleeper. I am able to put it on my mattress and my bottom sheet covers it all and snugs it in. It has been a big relief for comfort and pain. I'm waiting to see how much it acts as a cooler alternative come summer. I currently have a firm tempurpedic mattress I love but it was bothering my hips and shoulders. I got the 2 inch topper in a medium firmness. No regrets at this time.

Purchased to go on top of Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress (which is also medium firm). Based on the reviews I thought this option would be perfect for me. Initially, I was very pleased but a few more days into it I started noticing that sinking in feeling and difficulty to get out of it. I’m 120 lbs, side sleeper. Unfortunately, I can’t live with it and I’m returning it. I’m considering the Firm option for the support I need.

Super nice topper. Arrives in compact box that's heavy so be sure to have someone who can help carry > unpack if need. Wasn't ready to invest in another organic mattress (which has a topper but was thin and not much give). Put this right over the old mattress and topper and am in heaven. Slight smell upon opening but not much (am very sensitive to chemical smells). Luckily purchased these omg heaven linen sheets from Clementine Threads Co at the same time and pleasantly surprised they had enough room for our now three-layered bed). Got the 3" with medium firmness, seems firm enough while offering enough give for the side sleeper. Now we just need the mattress cover to be available for this size!!!

Added this on top of my cloud foam mattress to enhance comfort and relieve hip pain associated with side sleeping, after one night I’m so impressed with the quality of the latex, providing me relief while contouring to my shape and keeping my body in alignment. The product is well made, one continuous piece of latex with a softly textured knit cover, thick and dense but ‘springy’. I wish I’d done this sooner tbh, not sure I could find a mattress that provides the base support and plush feel all in one without spending alot, this is an affordable alternative to a high end mattress when paired with a decent foam mattress as a base.

After approximately 12 years sleeping on memory foam, it was hard to believe there could be something better, BUT THERE IS! Rather than "sinking in" to memory foam, latex foam allows you to "bounce on top!" With memory foam, you 'sink into' and 'climb out of' bed, but with latex, you 'bounce' into and out of bed! For real! I guess you've got to try it to believe it, but I am telling you... I BELIEVE IT!
