These look good from a distance. Not so much up close, but that's what I was going for. They were a little higher priced than I'd like for the product. Not as easy to install as you'd think. They are flimsy and have to dig to loosen the ground or the pegs will snap off upon trying to install them. They snap together easily enough, but make sure you work from the left to right, or you will have to lift each one you just installed. ... show more

The border looks nice, but is impossible to put in. The stakes on the border are way to flimsy to get in the ground. I was using a rubber mallet and managed to break one of the border pieces. This was after a rain and the ground was really soft. I'm going to use a dremel to cut off the stakes , drill some holes in the bottom of the border and put them in the ground with landscape staples. Hope that works. Not worth the money for them. Too much work to make them usable. And I bought 2 boxes. Wish I had only bought one.Lesson learned. ... show more

These were thinner than expected, but thick enough that they should hold up fine. The stakes on each piece are long, which makes it take a little longer to install if there are rocks to contend with. That being said, none of the stakes snapped even when they did hit a rock and went in using a rubber mallet. I ordered two boxes and am very happy with the finished product. I purchased these to provide a barrier to a newly planted pecan tree. I just needed a nice visual to help make people aware the 2 foot tree was there so they wouldn't trample it. I placed the pieces in a circle around the newly planted tree. I found the cobblestone to look just like the picture. It was easy to assemble and place in the ground. I did dig a hole to place each support rod that extends from each piece into the ground because it is plastic and I didn't want to risk bending or breaking the plastic. I have had that happen before when purchasing similar plastic borders. Then I filled and packed the sand back in for support. Then I added mulch around the tree that went to the top of the border. That way you don't see the back side and the mulch looks nice around the tree besides all the other benefits of using mulch in gardens. I have had the border for four months now and haven't had any problems with it at all. It has held together in a circle without any adjustments to it as well as staying firmly in the ground. ... show more

I remember reading a review that said these were pretty flimsy. And indeed they are. I got them to work but not without a lot of effort. The stake in particular is so flexible that it was very difficult to pound it into my soil (lots of clay). Many times I had to dig a hole for the stake to get it into the ground without breaking it - which I did on one unit early in the installation process. They look OK after installation but they're fragile and I don't think they're going to hold up more than a year. And if they border your lawn, as mine do, don't even bump them with your mower; they dislodge easily. Bottom line I would not get these again. And if you have soil that contains a fair amount of clay, just be aware that you're going to put in some extra hole digging time. ... show more

Not as durable as I was expecting. Flimsy to try and install. But looks pretty good after installed. I think the price is little expensive for the length that it covers.
