Purchased in 2023. This was our second purchase as we bought a trellis the year before. The arbor is beautiful. Easily put together. My spouse did most of the work and only asked me to hold a piece in place 2 times. Directions were clear. We were able to move it in place easily. We dug holes in the ground as recommended and leveled easily. We added extra support by pounding rods behind all 4 legs and zip tying. Went through the northeast US winter with no problem. Still looks great 1 year later. Annual vine plants do have a hard time to reach the climb. But I added at bottom some netting to help. Roses would have no problem. The height is perfect for walking under. Highly recommend this arbor!

I am scratching my head in confusion and also laughing at some of these bad reviews. I'm so glad I bought this arbor. It was less expensive than a wooden arbor I was also considering, only this one is made of material that won't rot over time like wood will. The color is also really nice, light brown almost like a dark beige. So here's the funny part, I'm a 34 year old female who is crafty, yes, but handy, no. I read the directions, looked over the pieces and put it all together by myself! It was seriously so easy. There are no pre-drilled holes for the screws, but the screws are easy to drill into the plastic. I actually preferred it this way, it always seems whenever there are predrilled holes it's almost impossible to line up. It's not flimsy once you drill the screws in for extra support. I moved it around a million times, nothing broke. It's not as fragile as some of these reviews state. Arbors are expensive, but this one was a better price than most I've seen. Super happy with my purchase. Buy the arbor, ignore the bad reviews.

I was concerned about putting it together and having things not line up or missing. It seemed to go together nicely. It is kind of all over the place until you secure it down. Looks very nice. I picked the brown that has the wood feel and look. I spray painted it to match the picket fence it is attached to. It really gives that wood appearance. I am a very finicky person and I am ok with it. I mean, for $100....you cannot get a real wood one that has this nice look for anything near that price. Mine is sturdy now so planning climbing roses. I believe they will do fine on it and support the plants well. Note: if you are going to have it around children where they are leaning on it or putting their hands on it, I don't think that would be good. It is just too light weight. Walk through and enjoy...that works. I have no regrets.

The arbor arrived in a surprisingly small box. It looked like a telescope was going to come out of there! We ordered the brown version and close up you can tell it is pvc/plastic, but from a few feet away, it really looks more natural. I expect once the vegetation has grown in, it will look like wood showing thru... This does take two people to assemble and a lot of patience. Patience is needed mainly because there are so many pieces and you need to orgnaize yourself. I will highlight that in our package, one of the "stakes" was inserted all the way into the leg of one of the sides of the arbor. I had to use a broomstick to push it out and all was fine. A second person is helpful to hold things steady while screwing pieces together and then again at the end when assembling the top to the bottom and then placing it on the stakes. Nether of us are handy and we didn't have any problems. Someone who is good with tools or putting things together will probably have this built in 20 minutes.

The packaging was great. The arbor was very easy to build. Could have been done with one person but a little easier with two. I would suggest using a rubber mallet to lightly hammer the plastic braces in the ground where you've marked the legs on the ground first. Then place the braces into the bottom of each leg on the arbor. When that's done, then place the screws in the bottom legs into the braces. There is no other way to affix it to the ground if you attach the braces to the arbor first. I'm very pleased with the quality so far. It does feel and look like wood. Up close you can tell it's PVC but I think once I place my great grandmother's rambling rose bush next to it, it will look fabulous. I recommend it without hesitation.

This Arbor is just as pictured. It was very easy to assemble as well. We chose to put it in the ground in concrete to make sure it stayed beautiful. The only negative is that even after we put it in concrete the top of it sways a little. It has many connections and I guess the inserts for the connections are not quite long enough to make it super sturdy. However, so far it stands perfectly straight and looks amazing. I will update if it starts to lean. I do recommend. I can always reinforce.

Received item and started assembly. Came to the part of connecting the arch to the sides and after standing upright the arch angle was way out. Instructions state that the inside diameter is supposed to be 36" top and bottom. The diameters were 40 at top and 50 at bottom. Attempted to bring in the bottom to match the top and three of the post caps cracked so bad they are not usable. I called the 1-800 number on the instructions to customer service and it wont even ring through, it is a dead number. Sent email to customer service and I am waiting for their response. If I don't hear from them by Monday I will have to literally break the arbor parts to disassemble them to put back in box for return. Very disappointed in this product . I have a similar vinyl arch I have had for 16 years and is still in great shape. Wish I could recall where I bought it from. This product is too brittle.

I loved the look of this and the maintenance free aspect of it. However, the connecting pieces on the top broke before we got the screws in. Hubs glued and taped it together, as it would be difficult to repackage and return. Would I recommend this? No, but it doesn't look bad from a distance. Being it barely made its way out of the box, I feel like I've wasted my $200.00.
