This greenhouse is great! I'd been looking forward to purchasing one for some time. At first I was adverse to one this size, thinking it would be too small, or thin, but with a simple shelf removal, addition of a fluorescent light, good, thorough reviews, and a very affordable price, everything turned out perfect! I purchased this particular greenhouse to grow organic herbs, tomatoes (and hopefully strawberries once my order arrives), indoors during the winter, while keeping annoying bugs out! So far it's passed my expectations. Set up was SUPER EASY, and I'm careful with the zippers after reading other people's reviews. In terms of quality, to me it seems fairly sturdy, and I don't see the outside cover as being very cheap or weak. I haven't had any issues with any part of it. I am now considering purchasing a second one for outdoors in the spring. In the event that I do, I will be sure to update my opinion based on how well it holds up in wind, against wild animals, and in terms of keeping out bugs, flies and other pesky things. Also, in case the manufacturer reads this, I would highly recommend separating each shelf into two equal halves, that way the customer has the option to remove one half to make room for taller plants, without having to take out the entire shelf, thus losing any excess, useable space. ... show more

Got this greenhouse and absolutely loved the size and the built in shelves! It’s definitely a cheaper quality than another one I’ve purchased but it still not bad for what I need! Problem is the cover came with 5 holes in the plastic and two of them were taped up, so it came to me from the seller with tape on it to fix 2 of the holes!!!! I shared pictures of a few of the holes but some just didn’t photograph well and you couldn’t see them much. And of the zippers was broken!! I really debated on returning it but the prices of the greenhouses have went up and I didn’t want to deal with finding another! I knew I should have went the green cover instead!! It seems to be way more sturdy than the clear! Extremely disappointed with the cover but don’t wanna go through the hassle of returning it right now either. If it wasn’t for the wholes I’d give it 4 stars for the quality but I’m just really pissed about it coming with holes taped up! ... show more

    • Flimsy. handle with care

This is a great idea, but the plastic parts snapped with very little pressure when trying to insert the metal bars. So, don't push in too hard or it will snap. I ended up keeping the bars from sliding right out with some duct tape. The trays are made of wire which has sharp little edges so tearing the plastic cover is very likely if not moving very slowly. They are warped, so keep in mind that if you have a tray of seedlings and water them, the water will pull in one area. So, some additional set up might be needed to ensure your seedlings are watered evenly. Also, it would be a good idea to be able to tie the plastic cover to the bottom horizontal frame, not just the vertical bars, but again, you can accomplish that by putting a duct tape patch on the bottom of the covering and thread some tie or rope thru in order to add more fastening points of the covering. All in all, with some extra reinforcing and gentle care, this might just do the trick. Price-wise, not worth more than $15 dollars, ... show more

    • Great product but mushroom growers beware! Wire rack will rust! Spray-paint the wire racks!

Great tent for the price but some issues I've had for growing mushrooms inside is the rust that forms on the joints of the wire racks. The tent stays at 90%~ humidity 24/7 and the rust will drip on my fruiting blocks. I purchased another tent and sprayed-painted the racks to keep them from rusting. I'd also suggest using zip-ties to secure the racks, after spray-painting, to the frame of the tent. ... show more

Well, it’s too bad I didn’t read the 1 star review before ordering this. My greenhouse also has a stitching problem. Didn’t notice it until it was zipped shut on our first cold night (this week). Now it’s full of plants so I’ll have to use duct tape. Hopefully someone is reading these reviews and can address the problem with a new, flawless cover. Very disappointed ... show more

So, the first time I ordered this greenhouse, 2 of the long bars were missing and thus, missing middle support bars for 2 shelves. The shelves could barely hold any weight without bending down. But luckily they quickly shipped me a new one and I returned the old one. Now for the price (I got it when it cost $25 for the 4 Tier one) it's great, 5 stars! I can fit my rectangular planter boxes that are 29 inches long, even though the shelves themselves are only 27 in long. My herbs have survived Seattle's cold rain and windstorms so far because of this greenhouse. As long as you have heavy plants or something on the bottom shelf, you shouldn't have to worry about it falling over, even in heavy wind. Super easy to put together, the pieces just pop in place, but can be harder to take apart, though it's definitely doable if you plan to store the greenhouse after a season. CONS: I wouldn't reccomend for taller plants. I had to take a shelf out to be able to fit my larger parsley plant. The shelves themselves are a little flimsy and don't secure down to the support bars. But if you ziptie them down or have heavier plants, you should be fine. The shelves aren't adjustable. Some part are plastic so ok when I tried taking it apart for the first time, the plastic cracked, so just be gentle when taking it apart. Overall, I would definitely recommend if you are looking to buy a greenhouse in the $30 price range. I was hesitant at first, but I am really happy with my purchase. ... show more
