I washed sheets 2 times and dried them 1 time. I decided to iron the edges because they had rolled over several times. However, the sheets were soft and material was heavyweight. Very fine quality for a medium priced set. I have recently ordered 3 sets of queen size. They were perfect. Beautiful colors and top notch 100% cotton. I wish that the flat sheet were wider by about 18 to 20 inches. These are excellent sheets at a very inexpensive price.

I've been searching for months for a new Queen sheet set…from reviews of the brands researched, either the sets were too expensive (for the higher thread count), or too cheaply made. This set from the Texas Linen Co is the perfect combination of quality and price. The material is a substantial thickness, yet pliable and soft. The fitted sheet is not too big (the sheet stays taught) or the pockets are not deep enough to wrap snuggly around the corners. My only issue with these sheets is that the top sheet is not wide enough to tuck in. I don't have an overly thick mattress, so the top sheet should not have been an issue. If it was possible to purchase a separate top sheet, I'd purchase the King size so that there is ample sheet to tuck in. After the first washing, the sheets have a very nice feel, very little wrinkling, no lint or pilling, and are quite soft for just that first wash. I expect that they will continue to get softer with subsequent washings. From the research I’ve done, many of the higher thread counts of cost-effective sheets are thick and stiff. This is not the case with these sheets. At an 800 thread count the thickness to softness is ideal. Other than the flat sheet size (which I can live with since the rest of the set is ideal) I highly recommend the Texas Linen Co for quality and affordable sheets.

Be careful- the description calls these sheets “sateen weave” and they feel nice right out of the box. Once they are washed, however, they become very soft with almost a flannel feel but very light and thin. They are comfortable but I wouldn’t call them “cooling.” The pockets of the fitted sheet are very deep as described, but they don’t fit my mattress tightly, which causes bunching up. The flat sheet is a bit short the long way and doesn’t have enough length to stay tucked in at the bottom. I got a great deal on these sheets so I will keep them, but I’m still on the hunt for the perfect cooling sheets. *We have a sleep number mattress, adjustable but not split.
