I think what amazed me about these essential oils is how fragrant the turmeric smells in the diffuser — it’s really pleasant and calming. Another surprise was when I used the basil essential oil in a bath: I noticed some small bumps appeared around my ankles, which I believe was a sign of detox happening. I am not interested in any sort of MLM oils, so it's been many years of turning my nose up at the idea of them despite using them for years because the 900 former high school classmates in every social media inbox I had made me want to retch. Recently I fell for a beautiful diffuser, and I had only a gigantic bottle of tea tree in the house, and that wasn't going to cut it. So I did some research on non-MLM oils and found this brand mentioned a lot as a good alternative for the hun-bot allergic among us. It's not my typical brand, but as it has been so many years, my former favorite has stopped making them. I couldn't decide on a few, so I bought this set with many. It was a fantastic choice, and I have been using them daily since. I forgot how much I enjoy using oils, and these are very nice for their price. I must admit, I was suspicious of the price at first, but in all honesty I had no footing to be so worried when the jars average $2 a piece or so, which means some common and easier to produce oils in this set offset the cost of the pricier ones easily. We've been conditioned to believe these must be expensive to be any good, when in reality that is simply not that straightforward. They smell amazing, and they have a fantastic longevity. I see from other reviews that the box can be an issue sometimes, but mine seems to be well made and solid and I'm happy with it. It is quite pretty, and beats the basket I would toss them in when I was a younger woman. A note specifically about the patchouli; NO, it does not smell like decaying hippie. This is a good quality patchouli, and smells like patchouli and not unwashed decay. If you know, you know. Just sayin. I appreciated in particular the inclusion of both sweet orange and tangerine, as these are not the same and are often interchanged for each other. Likewise, lemon and lemongrass are both found in this box. I think for the price, and how good these are, you cannot beat these. I've purchased another "recommended" brand at the grocery store to compare and it is just not as good as these. Buy these, and save yourself the time and money hunting further. ... show more

I own a lot of essential oils from different brands. I recently purchased almond oil from purador and was impressed with their quality. Their essential oils are great. Organic and pure. First things first, I was disappointed to find that the seal had been broken on a few bottles, which tells me that they had been opened at some point. Despite that, I like these essential oils because they are organic, are a fair price, and have a good amount of each oil in the bottles. I bought the 16 pack and am using it on myself, as well as my horses. The company also provides information as to where each oil came from, which tells me they are of higher quality than other oils you can buy off Amazon. The box they came in is heavy and of good quality, although the latch is a little flimsy. The bottles are all dark glass, as they should be, to protect the oils inside. This would have been a five star purchase if the oils didn't seem to be tampered with. It lowers my trust in those oils. ... show more
