I've switched from Bare Minerals to Pur. Just swirl your kabuki brush lightly around compact powder and then swirl around face being sure to get around your nose and lip areas. I use medium tan for my olive complexion. I have very sensitive skin and Purnis non- irritating. It gives me a flawless non makeup look while hiding imperfections and making my skin better with its added serums and skin rejuvenating ingredients. I also swirl a pea sized drop of Pur tinted moisturizer in the tube over the powder for a fresh, glowing look. I love PUR and recommend you try it. The trick is less is best!

I love this powder foundation! I read a review in a magazine and actively looked for it in beauty stores to no avail. Finally found it on Amazon. It blends in beautifully from light to heavier coverage. Stays put throughout the day. It goes on smoothly over my RX medication and sunscreen and my sensitive skin does not react to it! I purchased this for day wear in the heat and humidity but it looks so well on my skin I have started to use it going out at night as well. The color matches my skin tone very well. I do recommend applying with a flat-topped foundation brush. I chose the shade using an online app and then ordered from Amazon. I will definitely be purchasing this again when it runs out!

I had been using Bare Mineral BarePro powder foundation for years now but apparently they have changed their formula and per the reviews, people are not happy. I decided to give this a go and so far, I'm pretty happy with it. Plus, it's cheaper!

TLDR, this foundation provides a boost to your natural skin without that foundation feeling. Think your skin but better... less red and more even, zits are less noticable but not invisible, pores exist but aren't highlighted and are slightly "blurred" (Though I highly recommend reading the full review obviously) This review is to help you decide if it's right for you, I'm going to be honest and thorough because I find those reviews most helpful, even if that means sharing unflattering pics lol The pictures include one front facing camera, and the rest are rear facing WITH FLASH so you can see how it sits on skin texture, take. Roughly 4hrs after application. While no one wants to post unflattering pics of themselves, I think it's important to accurately portray how the product works. When looking at me in real life, it looks like the front facing camera shot, but as with any foundation it looks very different under bright unflattering light or when you examine it closely in a mirror. I thought it was important to include both. So onto the review. This is a lightweight, sheer coverage, buildable, powder foundation. Pros - lightweight, as in I literally can't feel it on my skin - buildable - doesn't cling to dry patches - doesn't highlight the large pores near my nose - can be used on it's own, as a setting powder, or even as a foundation with spot coverage using concealer or foundation for a more natural sheer look while still covering "problem" spots. - doesn't get that weird separation in oily areas that can happen with some foundations. - doesn't irritate my sensitive skin - long lasting, still look good at the end of the day - while it's not waterproof, you can go out in the rain or workout without it all coming off Cons (or at least things some might not like) - it's sheer, while buildable you'll never reach full coverage with just this powder. - it's pressed powder, many prefer loose powder as it's more finely milled. I will say this is verrrrry finely milled for a pressed powder though - the shade range isn't fantastic, though if you're pale you're in luck - it's somewhere between a matte and satin. While more "dewy" than most powders, it's still a powder foundation and won't give you that wet glass dewy look For reference, I don't use primer and I did not use foundation or concealer under it for more coverage. I am having a flare up with my skin (hormones, not a reaction to the powder) so I have a few zits and red patches, but I figured this was a good time to make the review so others with these problems can see what kind of coverage to expect. I ordered shade light porcelain as I'm very pale. It's a good match for me, other brands that match well for me for comparison.... Wet n wild photofocus in soft ivory, wet n wild cushion foundation in porcelain, hard candy glamoflauge in vanilla, and I believe I used porcelain in Maybelline fit me.

The coverage is buildable and I don’t think it looks like I have anything on but the irritated parts of my skin are hidden.

I have been looking for a powder that would go over my foundation and would help to cover up red veins and redness around my cheek areas. Well, i have tried so many products, even IT. I have NOT tried all products. But, i need not look any further. Pur powder foundation glides over my B&B foundation and the combo is like magic. It does NOT make my face look dry! It doesn't change as the day goes by (cant say if i sweat)! I put on this combo and go about my day. I bought a lighter color and a slightly darker because i am light but like a little darker during the summer. . I truly am thrilled with the result! I wish they had more blush colors too. I ordered the lighter shade and i am in love. These products just do such a great job with looking natural and are comfortable to wear, not chalky and drying. I have mature skin that needs hydration, but doesn't look wet! The Pur powder does the trick I do recommend!
