The classic Super Liga is always cute and comfy and I don't have much more to say about that. This review is to add my input on the sizing issue so that hopefully other people can get the right fit. I am a women's 8, generally, which would normally translate to a men's 6.5. In this case, the 6 was the closest size available, and I went for it. Glad I did! The 6 fits just right, without putting pressure on the toes.

Let me preface this review by saying that I bought these shoes as "Used - Like New". I am not sure if they were returned because of their smell or if the box + product got the smell afterwards. All I know is, the box and shoes (which were in perfect condition) smell like mildew. Like they had been sitting in my Grandmother's damp basement for a year. So buyer beware when purchasing "used" shoes (or clothes). Why give 5 stars then? Because the actual shoes are great! I love the fit. I love the look. They are fantastic. [The smell issue is on me because I bought them "used" to save a few bucks - hopefully after some airing out and special deodorizing spray they won't smell like I've been hiding out underground.]

Fits like a glove because the toe box area over the ball of your foot and toes is compressed vertically. This gives it that stylish flat look but makes the shoe feel small because your big toe hits the top before it reaches the end of the shoe. I wear a 13 and bought a 13 (47) and it barely fits on one side (left foot is 1/4" longer). The Navy Blue is actually a graphite color with the tiniest hint of blue bringing this OG shoe a modern cool look.

I do love the look of these shoes. And I love that they are made of real leather. And I think they are well made. But I have wide feet, and if you have really wide feet, I would not recommend them. I've had these for almost a year. Wearing them with socks almost as thin as dress socks, I have worn them 2-3 times a week, 8hrs straight. I have heated them with a hairdryer. I have conditioned them with leather rub. It took about 10 months for them to stretch sufficiently to be comfortable. And they are still not perfect; just acceptable. So while these Pumas will definitely stir up all your old-school, mid-90s nostalgia, especially if you wear them with white crew socks and shorts, or with baggy khakis, they are best for those with narrow feet.

Stylish, Affordable, Good Quality. Those are the 3 qualities I look for in an everyday sneaker. If you're like me, you burn through your shoes. You don't want to spend over $100 on a pair of sneakers cause that can be costly if your hard on your feet. And you don't want to buy a pair of sneakers under $40.00 because they look cheap, even brand new and eventually they will fall apart! That's why Puma's are the brand to buy. A respected sneaker company that will stay intact and with a price that wont break your bank, you can buy two pairs at a time. One for style and one for communiting. Buying two pairs in the beginning lessens the wear and tear on both sneakers. Go Puma.... Go!

I love these shoes and have been wearing them forever--and at the current price of forty-odd bucks, buying yet another pair is a no-brainer (plus Dua Lipa has been styling them lately, so suddenly I'm on the cutting edge of fashion at age 64, fancy that). Here's the thing: when you order (I'm talking men's shoes here), you may want to choose 1 full size above your normal size because, for some reason, the US size is that much bigger than the UK size, which corresponds with my usual size (as does the listed Euro size of 45, give or take). I included an image of the tongue of the shoe, so you can see what I'm talking about more clearly. So yeah it's needlessly confusing, and I'm not at all sure how Puma arrived at this odd sizing system, but there you go. Oh and I should mention that, when the shoes arrive, there's a round sticker on the inside sole of the shoe showing the size--but it's the UK size, so it'll appear to be a size smaller than you ordered, which only adds to the confusion.

I've worn Adidas Sambas for almost half of my life and wanted to try something else. I found these and actually think they look slightly better. I've always liked a low profile white leather shoe. I loved these shoes at first, but didn't wear them nearly as much as my previous Sambas due to moving to a warmer climate. I still wear these 3 years later, but I'll be going back to Sambas as these just don't hold up as well. Most of the show is in good condition, but the sole started separating a little after owning them for a year or two, with somewhat seldom wear. I've tried gluing them back together, but it's almost as if the leather shoe shrunk and the sole stayed the same size, so no luck. Other than that I really like the show, the lighter gum sole is one of the big reasons I like how this shoe looks, but it just isn't something I feel I can wear nearly as often or as long as my Sambas.
