I’ll keep it short. I shopped for socks on Amazon over the course of three days and probably spend for five hours total, just comparing and comparing and comparing. There has to be a name for what it’s called when you get sucked into shopping for something on Amazon and end up looking at hundreds of different items making the purchase difficulty increase tenfold before clicking ‘buy now’. Anyway, considering all of my comparison-shopping and extremely picky nature when it comes to trivial things like socks and underwear into account, I can say with certainty that these socks are probably the best possible selection available. I bought the 8-pack of Puma no show socks in the black/grey variant. First, the package came a day sooner than projected; Second, I received a 10-pack instead of an 8-pack; Third, they were absolutely brand new and unadulterated (so don’t worry about those reviews saying they received tainted merchandise); Fourth, these are among the most comfortable socks I’ve ever worn (and they look awesome). They appear to be constructed extremely well and I have no doubt they’ll last me a very long time. Take advantage of all the time I spent doing research shopping and get a great quality product. While at the same time saving yourself some valuable time which can be much better spent elsewhere….. not online shopping for socks…

I cant believe it! As soon as socks arrived I began my evaluation. Put them on and immediately felt comfortable. Fit was perfect for my size 12 feet. But other socks Ive tried on felt ok at first. The real test was when walking. So i began my usual 5 mile walk and these socks are amazing. No slipping down my heel as most other socks did. No sweating either! And the cushioning is perfect! Some of you will understand the importance of these items, some not. It made a huge difference in the comfort of my walking! I'm going to order more in case they are discontinued. Im telling you, these are the best socks ever!

Right. So I got these socks because mine kept disappearing. Every time I got a pack of white ankle socks, I'd start with 6-10 pairs, and slowly they would disappear into thin air. Then I realized what was happening. They were being smuggled into the drawers of family members. Everyone was wearing white ankle socks, you know, and they all look pretty much alike. It's like sheep. Aha, says I. I'll solve this. I looked for the most distinctive looking socks I was willing to wear, and told my family, these are mine! Stay away! That's how I came across these socks. And they are indeed distinctive enough to tell them apart from standard socks, what with the big Puma logo and splash of color, at least on the blue pair. But wait. They started disappearing again. What the heck?! I complained to the powers that be, namely my wife. This led to a discussion that involved me learning I didn't do enough laundry, but that's another matter. What I also learned is that my family loved my new, distinctive Puma socks. So much so that they took them at liberty. This lead to The Great Council of Domestic Sock Redistribution of 2019. Suffice it to say that we solved the problem like we usually solve things, by me buying more stuff. In this case socks. So if I want to have socks in my drawer without wondering where they disappeared, I had to buy enough that the whole family can grab a pair when they want. It's like how you need to have enough water in your pond for osmosis to suck away some of it, so you still have enough. I have no idea what I'm saying. I actually like these socks. They comfortable, and fit well. They're my go-to for workouts and weekends. If you get a pair, make sure your loved ones think they'e ugly, though, or else plan on buying more.

I needed new casual socks this summer just as the big heat wave was approaching. I put them on for the first time with more than a little bit of dread - these were so thick, like my heavy woolly socks fit for a Wisconsin winter - how could this possibly be a good idea when the heat index is breaking 120 degrees each day? Well, whatever material Puma uses, they have somehow managed to combine luxurious softness, a modest amount of arch support, and moisture wicking that far exceeded my wildest expectations. I've been wearing these socks for the past month and while friends keep asking "How can you possibly be wearing socks in this heat?" I just know that buying these was one of the best decisions I've made this year. Each pair has been through the laundry at least a couple times now and seem unaffected. I still want to see how they hold up in terms of long-term durability before ordering a second multi-pack but right now that seems to be a fairly reasonable expectation. Note: I would definitely classify the style as "low cut" rather than true no-show. There is a pleasant little splash of black/gray/blue that will be visible above the shoe-line!
