  • Great all around generator
Style: 9500w Tri Fuel Inverter Generator
I wanted a quiet, multi-fuel, portable, whole house generator. And that's exactly what I got. An early warning though - this unit is not light. Don't think that you are going to throw it into the back of a pickup truck and like you would a more portable unit unless you have some help. Having said that, it does have 4 wheels and wheel-barrow-style handles to move it around.....and moving it is not a problem. When I need to use it, I will just roll it out of my garage and plug it into my electrical panel. It arrived on a skid just days after I ordered it. Exactly as advertised. Once you cut the box away it's easy to roll it off the skid.....just use part of the box as a ramp. It was well packaged with no damage at all. I read all directions, hooked my 20lb propane tank to it, and it started right up (you need to add oil first). Easy step-by-step. Anyone can do it. When my electricians arrived to install a transfer switch next to my electrical panel, they were intrigued that this unit could be powered by propane, natural gas, or gasoline. Once they finished the installation, we hooked up the generator to the house and turned it on. My entire house worked without a hitch. I have a 3,000 square foot house and turned everything I could on to see how much wattage was being used. I don't have the specs, but the electrician said I had room to spare. All this while just having it run by propane. The unit comes with the hoses for propane and natural gas. I have an outdoor grill on natural gas so all I had to do was purchase an expansion coupler to accommodate the bigger 1/2" gas fitting. This unit is quiet when running, but keep in mind that it still makes noise....mind your neighbors. I highly recommend this Pulsar generator. It was less expensive than the "higher-end" brands, but it is a great product. I won't be using for anything other than in case of power outages, so I'm not concerned about issues with over-use. It does seem like this product would last a long time. It is solidly built. ... show more

  • Very quiet with Ng and 50 amp output.
Style: 9500w Tri Fuel Inverter Generator
This is a recent purchase, so review is based off of initial impression and 5 hours of break in. The generator is quiet. Two people can easily carry on a conversation while stand by the generator, so your neighbors will not hate you. The generator seems very sturdy. It is heavy, but with four wheels, is still very easy to move. I was able to roll mine across the lawn. I have a dedicated ng line, which is how I'm running the unit. I live in New Orleans so require a fuel supply which won't be effected by hurricanes. It is important that it is tri-fuel, as I did not want the additional cost to add an ng kit and void the warranty. The 50 amp output allows me to run my 5 ton hvac (with a soft start kit installed). I have a 50 amp inlet that connects to my main panel. Main panel has a mechanical interlock plate to made it legal. This is a much more cost effective alternative to a permanent whole house generator. ... show more

  • Unsatisfied
Style: 9500w Tri Fuel Inverter Generator
Overall very unsatisfied with the expensive generator inverter. Bought the 10500 watt and waited 2 weeks. The wait was too long, but that wasn't the biggest issue, when i tried Starting the machine i was not able to get it running it turned out the battery was dead and i had to jump start in order to get it running. After running for maybe 1-2 hrs i turn it back off and all to find out i had to Jump start it again. After i turn it off i was never able to get it back running again because smoke started coming out of the control panel. A very expensive equipment just to find out battery was not getting charge and to use for only two hrs. Very unsatisfied. ... show more

  • Quiet and Up for the daily task!
Style: 9500w Tri Fuel Inverter Generator
Bought this to use for my mobile coffee trailer and it is amazing. It has never not turned on and all 3 fuel features add so much value to me on a long day of serving coffee. All the men who see it talk about how quiet it is.

  • A back up generator that works on three different fuels.
Style: 9500w Tri Fuel Inverter Generator
Just in case the lights go out I am ready with a unit that is affordable and produces the amount of electricity from Natural gas, propane or gasoline. Easy to use with lots of connections. I highly recommend this unit for anyone anticipating loss of electricity. Don't forget to get your electrician to put in a quick connect to your junction box for the generator. R109 ... show more

  • NG needs to be high-pressure
Style: 9500w Tri Fuel Inverter Generator
If you live at altitude, you'll need to use high-pressure natural gas. My BBQ line won't power this thing. Disappointed with it. If I had known that NG is a no-go, I would have bought a dual fuel and saved a bunch of money. Otherwise, its seems to work fine w/ LP.

  • So much quieter than my last non inverter generator
Style: 9500w Tri Fuel Inverter Generator
This thing is great. Super quiet for its size and love the push button start. Took a couple tries to get up and running on NG but once it kicked it ran smooth for the break in period. Pure sine wave output also gives me peace of mind because of all my sensitive electronics I will be running off this thing. Still haven’t tried it on my interlock connection to the house on the 30a but don’t foresee any problems. ... show more

  • Impressive noise level
Style: 9500w Tri Fuel Inverter Generator
For its size at half load as quiet as conversion, great for neighborhoods. Pulsar needs to correct there 50 amp plug. You have to buy a $33 extension to get a 50 amp plug to work. I talked to their customer service and they didn't know how to resolve the problem so I figured it out on my own. Only have gotten past break-in so the jury's still out on reliability. I just hooked it to the house and it did what I wanted it to. Ready for a power outage now. ... show more
