It's a sturdy carpet puller that will save you time and energy. I needed this to take out about 2,600 sq ft of carpet at a church and it helped greatly. Makes it easier to grab and pull the carpet off. We had several people use pliers and scrapers but this definitely speeded the process. A little tricky at first to insert the end of carpet into the clamp but it got easier with more tries. ... show more

    • Unless your hands are made of bison hide, you need this.
This tool provides lots of leverage for pulling the toughest carpet out. 10x better that rolling the edge of staple ridden carpet and yanking with gloved hands. Even though the tool was a little clunky for use on steps, it worked great and I’ll definitely keep it in my arsenal for future projects.

    • does what it should
so, if you have to pull up glue-down carpet, this is a thing you will need. It won't do everything, so sometimes you use your hands (with gloves, of course) or pliers. My carpet is really old, so it tends to rip. Still, this thing works, and it got me through a couple rough spots.

This things worked great! I have several pieces of artificial grass turf (8'x16') sections WITH ground up tires in them. Super heavy!! Was able to pull them into place for my bow target range of 16'x64' surface area. Lot of work doing this solo, but these grippers worked "most excellently!"
