I am 5'8" and normally wear medium size (US) in sweatpants, but when I looked at the size chart I decided on large. I'm glad I went with the larger size. Normally, I have to worry about inseam as my legs are short, but I'm not sure any size of these pants would fit tall individuals. The waist and hip size need the focus; if you get those right, your size should be fine. For the price, these are a great value. They are very comfortable and lightweight. These are not for winter use IMHO. They make a great alternative to sweatpants for working out or just being lazy around the house. They also look good enough to run errands in. Very versatile and I would definitely recommend for "non-tall" individuals.

In terms of quality, these are pretty good. They are stretchy and fairly lightweight—although not as lightweight as some hiking pants I’ve gotten in the past. The elastic band has a lot of spring to it, which is also a plus. However, unless you are a tall person, These are not going to work for you. I needed the larger size because I have a larger waist. However, by going up in waist size I also now have hiking pants that are a good 4 to 6 inches too long. The only way I’m going to be able to use them is to go to a sewing shop and have them shorten them. Good pants… But not for someone who is a bit heavy and not tall!

I am slim and tall - usually my dress pants would be either 30 or 32 wide with tight belt, and ideally 34 long. I got the large size and it fits me well, but for muscular folks with thick legs, I'd recommend going bigger. These pants do have a cord around them, basically like a shoelace-style cord, and it's on the outside of the pants (some designs have them on the inside and I find that to be slightly more difficult to tighten). These kept me feeling warm on a 50 degree day, but breathable enough not to start sweating after a 6 mile hike. The zippered pockets are big enough for most smartphones, although they will sag with the weight. And your keys will jingle loudly. But still, zippered pockets :OOO

I am a woman and normally wear a U.S. 12, or L. I ordered these in a men's L because I liked the lightweight fabric and the zipping pockets. They. Are. Perfect! I have several pairs of these made for women that do not fit me nearly as well as these do! The fabric is lightweight and perfect for Summer. The pockets are deep and the zippers make them secure. I love the open hem. The waist and hips are surprisingly slimming for a drawstring cut. I could almost get away with wearing these to the office if I take off the yellow zip tags and toss on heels and a blazer. I sort of wish the logo was positioned somewhere else (because of the wanting to wear them to the office thing) but for the pants themselves, I'm over the moon! They're excellent in feel and in fit, and I'll get a lot of wear out of them in the warmer seasons.

Picked these up for my husband and, while he likes them, the sizing is off. He is 6 foot and 210 lbs and we got the XX-Large; he wanted the larger size as he knew they are lightweight and he wanted to wear sweats underneath them... He does have to pull them up to his hips for them to 'fit' - essentially they are super baggy if they are worn on the waist. Overall, the construction and material are really good, sizing is just off...

I like these pants. They are very light and comfortable. I like also like how the pockets have zippers. My cell phone and other items tend to fall out when I sit while I am wearing my sweat pants. I plan to wear these on my long overnight flights overseas. Now I don’t have to worry about items falling out of my pockets. The pants do seem to be somewhat water resistant. They might be good to wear if there is a chance of rain.

I like these lightweight “hiking” pants from Pudolla. The pants are cool and comfortable thanks to their Polyester/Elastane (aka Spandex or Lycra) blend (92%- 8%). They have a wide elastic waistband with a drawstring closure and a good-sized side slash pocket on each side with zipper closures to keep your valuables secure. The pants have straight legs with open hems, not the elastic cuffs that you find in so many athletic pants today. While these pants are described as ‘hiking” pants, they can be worn for just about any athletic activity when you don’t want to wear shorts. Fine for working out, walking, running, boxing or martial arts training… or just lounging around, these pants are great. They are machine washable and quick drying (I used low heat due to the Elastane material). Comfortable, great looking, well priced and versatile equals a 5 STAR rating.
